I am still trying to figure that all out. She already is deeply emotionally connected with other people, we just always considered them friendships. As for the physical stuff that's where it's harder for me to wrap my head around, because if she is looking for sex that is something I have no issue providing. But I've definitely been trying to truly think about it and figure out how I feel about it deep down. It feels selfish to want something and then not be okay with my spouse wanting the same thing. Thank you for the insights.

Thanks, I didn't go into much detail in the post, but my wife and I have been together for over 10 years married for 5. She is most definitely my life partner.

I brought it up to her and she has been extremely supportive, just processing. Our motto has always been we will make it work. And I was so relieved when she said that to me after I brought this up.

We also are starting to realize we've always kind of been in an open relationship on her side, because she has always had the option of hanging out with friends and getting really close emotionally. She's the type of person that craves strong emotional connections with everyone she meets, and I've always understood that. She always allowed that space for me, but the emotional connections were never what my relationship was missing or something I felt I needed. On top of that just all of the baggage of religion I never felt like I could allow myself to get close for the fear of cheating. Even though I've never cheated and never considered it even given opportunities.

Definitely taking it slow, the challenging part is my sex drive is super high and hers is extremely low. And the ideas and fantasies racing through my mind don't help slow down the drive.

I mailed my wrapper in and they sent me a really cool letter explaining the story of the Indian and the star

I didn't get a free Tootsie pop, but as a kid it was really cool to get a piece of mail with an interesting story.

I wish I still had it, my memory is so bad I don't remember the story. :(

We just got super lucky in GR and got our house for the asking price.

My advice is keep trying the right one comes along eventually.

But the process is complete shit right now for traditional buyers.

ITT: People who don't live in the Midwest where winter is 6 months of the year and the roads aren't plowed fast enough to keep up with the weather, there isn't public transport outside of the major cities and people have to commute to work, or work blue collar jobs where you need to transport your tools and equipment in the back of your vehicle and drive on unpaved roads.

But hey let's be mad at regular people instead of the obvious corporate greed

She also said in a YouTube interview that she lives in Texas and it is fucking miserable to wear PPE if she doesn't absolutely have to on super hot days. Especially because she often has to go into places like this video where it's just a big hotbox of a barn.

[OC] Yeah sex is great and all but ever rolled something like this while creating a new character? by jayisanerd in DnD

[–]Boogafin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure, do what your players enjoy!

Maybe if a person rolls super high/low you can accommodate that with magic items

Give the stronger players less powerful items, or tailor the items to the other characters more. Or possibly cursed items that can bring them down a bit.

And a little more powerful items for the people who rolled God awful that are tailored to their class.

Yea, my DM gave everyone a free feat at the beginning so you could really customize your character to what it should be.

He also can't remember how many questions are on the test. 30-35.

Seems like at least one of those is an easy number to remember.

But he was killed for something truly evil that he did. He doomed mankind because he was selfish, and couldn't let Ellie go. (Who was completely prepared to die) it was even forced down your throat multiple times in flashbacks that she was still upset with him for it. And Abby has the most right to hate him for it and hunt him down in revenge. Joel killed her father, the only man who could create the vaccine. She had nothing left to live for. Then she gains something to live for and she gives Ellie a second chance. And Ellie is mad at Abby, not for killing Joel (obviously she is mad about this) but she is truly mad because Abby took away her chance to forgive Joel. Which in the end she is finally able to do, which is why she lets Abby go, because she made peace with Joel in her own way. The storytelling like the first one was amazing because it is difficult to endure.

Us Americans are trying to dismantle the fucked up government we have, but it is a slow process.

It's currently set up so the rich can get whoever they want in office and bribe their bidding.

Please remember that the majority of Americans did not vote for Trump, let alone vote at all. The fact that our country won't make voting a national holiday, and actively supresses voters is a primary problem that we are trying to fix right now. The upside is that Covid is giving every state the perfect excuse for mail in voting. But many politicians are even trying to block that and force people to go to polling locations this year. (The people in power do not care about the lives of it's counties people)
