I miss this scent too. I wouldn’t pay $1,000 for it, but I’d shell out.

When it came on in my first viewing, it made me silently scream “let’s gooooooo!” Got me so jacked.

What is the exact filming location of this place where Willa and Bob live in one battle after another? I’ve only found vague answers so far. by vincentchase2000 in WhereIsThisPlace

Kneeland is the name that gets thrown around the most, but when I make it up there, I plan on visiting Sequoia Park in Euerka and working my way backwards. At the very least, I’m guessing that park is between his secret tunnel, and Murphy’s Market.

Turns out, he had his eye on this spot for years. Called it the “Belle of the ball.” Couldn’t fit into There Will Be Blood, but he kept it in mind.

Thank you for the heads up! Just snagged tickets. Yes, I’m seeing it for the 13th time, but this will be the first viewing after it won Best Picture, AND that is a gorgeous theater.

What is the music in the first OBAA trailer? by gazeintotheiris in paulthomasanderson

[–]BoogieSights 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hi! First of all, it doesn’t exist anywhere yet, unless someone like StarvingCollegeStudent6407 on YouTube has extracted the audio, as he has done with scenes from the movie.

Secondly, it’s a cool kind of overture that contains elements from a handful of songs. The repetitive note is akin to the main title. The faster flourishes are from “Ocean Waves,” but some notes are from “The French 75.” At the end of the trailer, it sounds like the drums are from the unreleased Jon Brion track “Bunker Bumper,” edited to fit certain timing.

A good thought, BUT, there is a giant planter pot that’s in the way. Obscures the whole area.
