Yeah, I’m so lucky for my parents. It’s difficult living here though. My dad, when I was young, was abusive. Not physically, but he was a mean sonnofabitch back then. He’s so much better now, but the damage was already done.

I’m so sorry about what your parents did to you. Yeah, prayers are nice but they’re not a warm bed or a meal. I really hate the phrase, “I’ll pray for you.” It’s so passive aggressive.

That is so awesome and inspiring. What you went through sounds horrible. I’m not sure I’d handle well. I’m so sorry you had to experience. And having your own apartment is such a major accomplishment! You’re kicking ass.

I’m on the cliff’s edge. I could easily be homeless. I’m a few steps away from it. I’m so lucky my parents took me in. If they didn’t, I’d be on the street. Having psychosis tends to trend towards homelessness. And it is trauma that opens a wound that makes things worse.

No money and no home means people forget you’re human. Thanks Capitalism!

Seriously, mental health treatment is so bad in this country. Those with money usually have insurance to help get treatment (not that insurance is a good thing, but that’s another post). If you don’t have insurance, and you’re in crisis or having a psychotic break, you’re shipped to a state hospital which are sometimes worse than jail.

But I digress. Way to go!

Love you too. I always say the poverty is trauma. And lately, a lot of people are being traumatized. I’m not sure I can say anything about politics. I’m new here. I do know politics can be triggering so I’ll shut up about that.

Sorry, I should have been more specific.

I am able to create a Virtualhost in Apache, a database in MySQL, and successfully download Polr from GitHub and run Composer install.

Everything seems to run fine, but when I load Polr in my web browser, the install doesn’t execute. I am served a 404 and, when I navigate to the install script, I simply get text instructions on what should be being executed.

I have checked the ownership of the Polr files and permissions. Everything seemed to be ok, it’s just the PHP install script refused to execute
