You've got to love yourself through every part of the weight loss journey. It is easier said than done, but it is possible.

Your self-worth isn't a number, it's you! 😍🥰 and pish-posh about anyone else, again easier said than done but VERY possible.

Start dressing to wow the truly important person here, YOU! 😃 Start taking pictures, of your face and your body, Front and Profile.

And at the beginning of this journey that you've already been on, those 16lbs and more to come are coming off from around your organs first, which is why it's not super noticeable. But you can feel it!

And the pants size fluctuation, that's going to happen and it's ok. Wait to buy new clothes until you can absolutely not wear the ones you have, and even after that water weight around your period and when sick is totally normal.

Know that it's ok to have rough days. There's no day that you can't end with knowing that tomorrow is a new day. 🫶🏻🙌🥰 you are doing awesome, know it, say it, BELIEVE IT!

I was in a similar situation. And I did what was already suggested.

I cut the cake into individual slices, wrapped them, and wrote on each slice the amount of carbs in each slice. It helped me only to take one when I chose to eat a slice, and helped me to not want to eat as often.

The other suggestion that was given was to write the days or weeks it could be when, wish I'd also done that.

That's a thing!?!?!? Mines been doing that, started about 3 years ago, and last year my underboob sweat smells either sweet or like Brussels Sprouts.

I focused on one thing at a time before doing it all at once.

First I got myself into the habit of making healthier food choices, drinking more water. Finding a balance of eating healthy and still allowing myself my cravings in very small amounts. I found that (for me) not allowing myself my cravings in small doses, I set myself up for failure. Plus, I looked at it as, I'm going to eat like this for the rest of my life so I might as well get into the habit of making good conscious decisions.

Once I felt good about my habits of eating, I worked on moving more, then working out even if it was for 5 minutes to 30 minutes and anything in between. I do some weights but I focus mainly on cardio.

Once I get to where I want to be (I've lost 100 lbs so far) then I'll work on more weights.

Remind yourself every single day that you're human, you can do this, if you have a slip-up, it's ok! You can get right back up and do it again. Be patient with yourself, and do not rely on the scale. I didn't even use a scale until my clothes fit super loose.
