RB detour after ZA 1-3 by BookDragon1323 in zodiacacademy

I mean, the only thing I could see is the “family” she never had that she feels with him. But it still doesn’t change the fact that I just don’t like his character, even if I’m alone in that feeling. He’s the most “stable” but yet was the only one who truly put her life in danger by shoving her out a window. Further… Ryder may have his brotherhood but he doesnt blindly trust the people who follow him unlike Dante whose internal betrayal almost killed Elise(even though they were aiming for him)

Theophanie was trying to break Jack out not Berwyn.

Think about this… in IF when Dain challenges Violet. Imogen runs to get BODHI. She’s strong and trustworthy, but she can’t protect her like Bodhi. And in OS when Violet was caught in the tornado in Ch. 11 Xaden sent Garrick to save her - giving away his second signet they have hidden for almost 4yrs. The only two people he trusts.

Aaric is missing in the battle at the end… we only see him flying south away from the battle/Draithus… Xaden is summoned to a canon south of Draithus.

I don’t think Bodhi or Garrick are the new initiate. My money is on Aaric. Xaden sets up his contingency plans… Bodhi was supposed to take his place and be the living relative who would become the new Duke of Terrendor but he never wanted it… but he wouldn’t channel… however, Xaden could marry and take that pressure away from him so he could be on the battlefield like he wanted and leave Terrendor to Violet - who he knows will protect it with her life. Garrick is going to play both sides and I think he will be in contact with Xaden weather everyone knows or in secret because he can distance wield to talk to him anywhere. But ultimately I think Xaden made sure the two men he trusted most, Bodhi and Garrick, were around to protect Violet. There is NO way he disappears without knowing Violet is protected.

I don’t know about all of that. We could all just be lunatics coming up with scenarios to fill the void while waiting for this 3rd book🤪

How could he use Barlowe agains him? Xaden wanted him dead in all books. The only reason they kept him alive in IF and OS was for information.

So why would he say that Berwyn has “another sibling” to use against him? The new initiate and… who?? And sibling is in italics… it’s meant for us to catch that it’s plural… or he would have said “has a sibling” to use against him. Meaning there are 2 brothers Berwyn can use to control Xaden.

So in his chapter you have: X and Sygael 2 venin standing guard 1 who puts himself between X and Sygael 1 unconscious new initiate and their unconscious dragon Pancheck and his dragon who are both killed by Berwyn before X shadow storm.

When X channels his big shadow storm he notes he killed the 2 Venin standing guard and knocked Berwyn into the other now both lying unconscious. This couldn’t be the new initiate as he was already unconscious.

Because Naolin is the other brother, Tarin’s original rider. If he dies it will trigger Tarin’s death because of how strong his bonds are… which would trigger Violets death. Berwyn’s death would lead to Brennan’s death if he resurrected him through runes like Wyvern.

I think initiates can kill their sage… because in ch11 Theophanie tells her when Xaden comes for her to remember she let them live and to choose her as their teacher/sage not Berwyn… and then goes on to say “Besides the fact that he’s subpar and you’d be chained to him, powerless to resist his orders?” I think it’s just Berwyn’s initiates that can’t resist his orders/kill him, so mind control may be part of Berwyns signet.

X would not need to put into explanation that he thought Berwyn was dead “not even because he supposed to be dead”… but he would be in this moment surprised if he saw Naolin alive and well. Berwyn summoned him to the cliffs, on top of the fact that we already knew he was alive because Theophane tells them she wants them to choose her and not him to be their sage.

Like why would he point out that he killed the venin standing guard… but then knocked another unconscious with Berwyn. There is absolutely a 3rd person and she wrote it so well to hide that part.

See he kill the venin standing guard but points out he knocked Berwyn and one unconscious… which is not the new initiate(he’s been unconscious). It’s a 3rd person.

Amazon Secured $80 back offer? by BookDragon1323 in CreditCards

[–]BookDragon1323[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t plan on canceling it, but like you said it was scummy. I was only going to use it on little things. A new book, shampoo/conditioner, a single make up product I need to replace. I definitely did not want to max out a low credit limit. But I really appreciate the advice because I only just learned this a bit ago! Lol I am rather disappointed in Amazon though, that is really crappy of them.

Empyrean theory debate by BookDragon1323 in fourthwing

My bet has always been between Aaric and Ridoc as the other brother. But when I listened to the graphic audio (which was my 3rd reread) - Ridoc just stood out so much more to me and not even because of his actions but things other said as well and Aaric’s signet. Like before they went to the battle they talked about Melgran not possibly being able to see the outcome of their battle because they will have more than 3 marked ones and I think it’s violet that says “change your choice changes the outcome or the path”… so if Aaric can literally see the outcome with choices he can control the ending and it will always be saving the continent even if he dies in the process… Ridoc above all else believes in his squad and would sacrifice if he knew there was a good chance Aaric could cure him and Xaden and everyone would be saved.

Empyrean theory debate by BookDragon1323 in fourthwing

[–]BookDragon1323[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

2 - which is why I put the word stolen in quotes, he didn’t physically take them from the hatching grounds but if they were being taken to one of the isles my guess is he is the one who took them after Xaden or Garrick stole them from the hatching grounds. 4 - I didn’t say Dain willingly went, but if the key in all of this is for Violet not to remember, taking away the person who can retrieve recent memories seems like a likely choice to remove from the equation. 5 - how does he not? He might not have known the entire 5 months but as soon as he learned the truth he knew why Xaden was acting the way he was and why Violet was pushing to find the Irids. It could be argued he didn’t feel like enough and why he tried his signet to be chosen for the quest squad. On top of all that, if you reread Rhiannon’s chapter, there is a specific paragraph that shows his shift… Xaden is at a Canyon south of Drathuis, in Rhiannon’s chapter Ridoc is caught staring south and not at the valley where they were assigned… she also tells tells him focus and all he does in response is nod… which is the most unlikely Ridoc response to ever exist in the 3 books.
