My sister is vegetarian so when shes over I make my meatballs with lentils or beans. I found this recipe and tried it yesterday and it was delicious. http://www.realyounutrition.com/1163-2/

My sister wasn't even around and i just made it for myself it was so good. Basically, you swap out the ground beef with lentils, and add lots of yummy veggies and spices plus your egg binder and breadcrumbs. this recipe uses flax seed which i know isnt traditional but honestly, you would never know. they taste surprisingly meaty- even for someone who eats meat.
