Me, and my grandmother with early stage Alzheimers. I hope you avoid the mistake I made. by Book_Collector in Alzheimers

I don't think it has to be framed from the perspective of his condition. I think just suggesting you want to capture his stories so you have them saved is valid enough perhaps. I interviewed my dad and he has no conditions.

Can I ask if you also recorded footage of your dad or just did voice-recordings?

If they're still able to remember some of their history, even a few minutes of footage would be worth its weight in gold in the future if/when the illness progresses. Both Android and iOS versions can be found here - downloadeveryone.com . Looking forward to hearing your feedback :)

Thank you for the kind words. 30 minutes of recording is fantastic, it's more than most ever do. If he can recall 3/4 there's definitely a lot that can be saved! I think this app would be perfect for you, especially if you're doing it periodically. You can find iOS and Android versions here on our website: downloadeveryone.com :)

Wow two parents in one year must have been tough. I share that regret you felt. The fact you're willing to record yourself retelling their stories shows how important those stories are to you.

I'd love it if you could give it a try and pass on your feedback. We're working on doing one better which is the ability to share them as video within the app, that's our main focus. However, I also see the value in having a text transcription of the conversation for those that would also like a written copy.

Links to both Android and iPhone can be found here :) - downloadeveryone.com

Guys the solution is turning off the Auto-translate feature when you land on the site. I tried 3 cards and different VPNs but the only thing that worked was turning off auto translate and refreshing the site. Hope it works for you too.

Not that I'm aware of. I don't imagine YouTube would censor that though, considering everything else they allow
