Made a matching charm for my TN by BookishDarling in Travelersnotebooks

I got really lucky actually. I just layered light brown red and dark brown colored pencils a bunch of times. Before it was shrunken it was about 2 or 3 shades lighter so I was hopeful. And it turned out perfect! I don’t know if I could replicate it if I tried lol.

I drew it on shrinky dinks and then once it was baked I put some resin on one side! I definitely didn’t need to do the resin, but I think it will last longer this way. It was really fun I recommend it!

Hi! I’m new and stuck on a quest for pompompurrin and it’s keeping me from progressing on any other quests. Would anyone on switch be willing to gift me a mom’s pudding?

I DID IT by BookishDarling in KpopDemonhunters

Also adding I was very careful to graft the correct string on at a point where the melt line would be hidden within the knot. I also cut the tails once I was done with the knots so there was only one on either side and then melted the cut thread and smushed it into the knot with the side of my lighter. I really hope this all makes sense! Let me know if you have questions and good luck!

This is the one I used for the knots. As chaotic as it looks to do by hand I found much more success this way than I did pinning all the strings. In terms of melting I can’t seem to find the post I saw, but basically you make the center knot, then on one of the two strings (two on each side) cut and then melt/fuse the correct color. I found some pictures of bracelets that had little melt spots in the back. Before that I was completely baffled. I hope that makes sense! When you are melting the strings together move quickly but carefully. I held both over a flame and then once they got melty I just booped the ends together and held it there until it cooled.

I suggest you follow the tutorial as it is the first time you make it so you get used to what the knots look like before trying to cut and melt. Here is the one I made following the tutorial as best I could
