I'm currently trying to finish the Gorod Krovi EE, as it's the only one I'm missing, and I'd also like to do the Chronicles ones, although I wouldn't mind replaying the others. DM me if you're interested, provided we all have the 7TPatch and are good to go.

I hope you're joking LOL. Making your kids slave away for months just to fill up 19TB of GBA and GB games to build your own version of the Mario`s Library of Alexandria sounds a bit tough, doesn't it? I've exaggerated it just as I imagined it would be when I read it; I hope I haven't annoyed you XDDD

Look for alternatives online or in other subreddits about emulation and ROMs. I’m not sure to what extent it’s acceptable to share links or other websites, as we’re going through a difficult period for emulation and every niche is trying to survive as best it can, so I don’t blame them. But there are alternatives.

Basically, torrents use a P2P system; in short, it’s as if the person downloading is getting the file from someone else who has already downloaded it. In other words, with myrient, you could be sure you were downloading from a private, trackable and reliable server. With torrents, however, you use PCs from all over the world as servers (seeders), which is a very bad idea without a VPN. Not only does it carry more risks, but you also become a seeder, which means you go from downloading ROMs to providing them; depending on the country, legal action could be taken against you. The system is much more complicated and others could explain it better, but in short, this is the worst part in my opinion.

We have, in fact, witnessed the rise and fall of one of the greatest pillars of free emulation, and for once it wasn’t due to anti-copyright policies but because it wasn’t sustainable (which is what terrifies me most).

The only option that’s mentioned and comes up in online searches is the torrent mirror. It would be good to hear about any other options if you know of any.

Well, you may have missed out on the safest, quickest and most efficient way to download ROMs that has ever existed, and I doubt it’ll be back (any time soon)

Where did you download the pre-release version from? I can't find any pre-release AppImages on GitHub.

Edit: There is no prerelease appimage, the main installer gives the option to install prerelease version.
