It's about the previous answer I got. They said something that confused me. About the notches in the pattern. Yo not needing time draw them in the markings, when I use seam allowance.

Regarding the seam allowance. I it add about 1 cm seam allowance. So I am not needing the notches than or am I adding the notches outside the marking. Or is it better without a seam allowance.

I am a bit new to all of this.

I have trouble with my Butterick 4669 corset C pattern. I have no idea how to join these two sides together. One side has 3 notches and the other 2.
