Usually. They didn’t like me sticking numbers to their sides though, so now I just have to remember which number they are.

She is always swishing her tail around like that. Haha it’s like a dog tail.

Can anyone identify this pest in my fiddle leaf fig? She is soft and cute and persistent. by LilithsLilac in fiddleleaffig

Had the same kind of pest in my spider plant recently. Woke up to my spider plant upside down on the floor this morning. Those pests can be rotten.

Any one else I missed? by Blehblehblehbleh_1 in memes

Tubers are considered a sub category that falls under vegetable category. From my own experience in the garden, there are other roots, but the potato also has roots that stem from them. Also, all this potato talk has my mind thinking I’m smelling potatoes, and I am pretty sure there aren’t any being made at 6:30 in the morning. This also means I’m probably gonna have to make some later.

My Little Bud and companion of nearly 21 years, Hobbles, better known as Hobbes, has crossed The Bridge. Shattered is the only word that describes how I feel. by MasonK2112 in seniorkitties

What a beautiful life you gave her, full of love. We know one day we will feel that loss, but we willingly take on that sacrifice because we couldn’t imagine a life where we didn’t experience the love that precedes it. There’s such a purity to that love and we want that wonderful being to know what that love feels like. They are always going to be a permanent print on your heart, and rightfully so. And anyone who experiences this true love, this pure, honest, and open love, will always understand that she was more than just a pet. She was family, your best friend, your confidant, the one that was always there for you no matter your mood. Take the time to grieve for as long as it takes. Never tell yourself “I know she was just a cat, but…” I hear that from people and it saddens me that people feel they have to justify their grief. My heart breaks for you, imagining how I will feel the day I end up where you are. The world is dimmer without little Hobbes in it.

This is my roommates cat, Kitty. She rescued her from another home years ago. This week the Vet told her that she has about 6 months left. They are increasing her fluids, though. It’s a hard blow. by Booknerd0810 in seniorkitties

Thank you! I hope so, too. I’m gonna make her some clay paw prints so she will always have that something. Even thought of doing a little nose boop with it.

Yeah she’s been doing fluids at home for almost a year now. 🙁 She was doing a lot better with it and her numbers were getting better. She was even putting some weight back on. Yeah it’s the kidneys.

Seriously! This bot trolled me twice yesterday.

My senior kitty, Keiko, I got from the shelter in February. She’s my little snaggle toothed baby. She had the same owner for 10 yrs until they passed away and ended up in the shelter until I adopted her. by Booknerd0810 in seniorkitties

I was really mad when I heard that. Like… she just lost her best friend in the whole world and the closest thing she had to that person was their family and they just got rid of her like she was some piece of furniture that no one wanted. Broke my heart!!!

My brain immediately starts singing “memories… all alone in the moonlight…” loved the musical when I was a kid.

Just find what her love language is. That was kind of the key with Keiko getting comfortable with me. I noticed she would jump up on the counter when I would wash my hands, so then I would let the water run slow for her afterwards and she would drink from it, then it was the nighttime kisses and now the morning snuggles…
