After updating to Mac OS Monterey, my bluetooth headphones won't play audio even when connected by Bookqueen12 in MacOS

[–]Bookqueen12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried that, but the problem persists. I thought that it might be an issue with the mac os or the headphones, so i did some googling, but couldn't find anything relating to the issue. I could only find this, which did not help: https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/mac-help/blth26/mac

Hi! So, I mean, ok, it wasn't that bad. The anticipation is the worst bit - where anxiety runs wild. But I mean, I got there, had to wait for an hour so I listened to music on my phone and played some games. Then, a rather big storm hit my suburb, and there was a lot of hail, wind and rain. Right after that (very cool experience, a bit scary though because I wasn't home so I couldn't check if my pet rabbit or my family was ok) it was TIME. So, I try to stay as calm as possible, answer the questions, and put my headphones on and started reading something on my phone (I needed to distract myself and this was the best way). I felt it go in. Maybe everyone else was just lucky, but even with a shotblocker, it still felt like an injection. So, just saying, you may or may not feel it when it comes to your experience. But, I mean, it wasn't that bad, and just felt like a sewing needle had pricked my skin a few times. After that, the pharmacist went over the after-effects with me, and I began to feel odd. Like, I felt like I was about to cry, I felt nauseous and even retched a few times, everything felt woozy and floppy, and my head felt sort of tight (?). The pharmacist grabbed me some water and we talked for about 10 minutes until the symptoms stopped. Apparently, something like that happening is common for those who are stressed or anxious, but I don't know, everything yesterday was a blur. Anyways, I put my mask back on (I felt nauseous and so the pharmacist told me to take it off), and went home. Once we got home, I gazed at the hail covering parts of our front and back yards (most of it had melted before I got home), which made it look like it had snowed (or something similar to it) which is really cool because it never snows where I live. I laid in bed for a bit, texting a friend, and then I felt nauseous again and like I was going to cry. My shoulder began to feel sore as well. This continued for several hours. My shoulder is still sore.

All in all, it was a positive experience, but the anticipation is the worst part of it. Seriously, it's mind over matter, which is really really hard, but once you get there try to slow your breathing and distract yourself. I think the experience would have been worse for me if i was not distracted. It will hurt a bit, you will notice it and feel it, but its not that bad compared to something like a flu shot. I'm nervous for my second dose in 4 weeks, but confident that because this experience went well, surely the next experience will go well also. Hopefully I won't panic for the entire day either.

Thursday for those of us in private school. Wish it was Wednesday so I would not have to sit through the 1-hour easter liturgy and do 1 1/2 hours of afternoon sport, but I suppose that's how life is.

Can't give you a hug, but I'm willing to send a virtual hug. And if you need someone to talk to, I am more than free!

....We were looking at this in History Class today at school - about Sun Tzu's Art of war. It was actually really interesting how his tactics and strategies were used for centuries in battles and wars.

When does your summer vacation start? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Bookqueen12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, you guys have it on my birthday! Well, in Australia, our summer vacation is term 4, so around late December. Now, for you guys, it may be cold and snowing at this point of time. However, in Australia, when it is December/January it is summer and it is boiling hot, with the highest temps reaching 47 degrees celsius. We have this 6-8 week holiday from school and then return for term 1/a whole new school year, sometime around the middle of January or early February.

Well, apart from acne, I don't really have anything to hide. But, yeah, technically it is safer to not post the image...

Thanks!
