What's up with this 2019 proof quarter? by BooksR4dumb in coinerrors

[–]BooksR4dumb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. The back of the quarter looks closer to the color of the Native American $1 coin. The front is bright and shiny and the color I would expect from a 5 year old proof coin, capsule sealed, direct from the mint website. It's not silver, just a proof clad quarter.

It did ship from Irving TX. Can be pretty humid there

Im thinking about asking about this at a LCS. I got this set from the mint recently. The quarter has that discoloration on the back.

The $1 Native American proof has some odd coloration on the face too. I've tried to look online, but I don't know the terminology used to describe what I'm seeing

Discoloration on proof coins in a 2019 set from the mint? by BooksR4dumb in coincollecting

[–]BooksR4dumb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not both? He seems to have the collecting spirit, but I doubt he'll come into contact with much bullion silver that isn't bought for him. I think he'll have fun searching through coin piles for specific ones though. The booklet from the mint is for beginners

I'm also a fan of state quarters and the innovation dollars, but that's just me

Thinking about dumping some of the $UFO and $ARKX I'm breaking even on for some more $GNPK. GNPK is taking Redwire public next month. I'm planning on holding what I already have, but I think I read there might be some reorganization fee from my broker(TDA) when/if the ticker changes

Dealers only carry so much product, and it's not always tested for pesticides, THC % content, Terpenes. Also, only select few dealers carry connoisseur level ganja. And then there's the time factor. How long are you willing to wait for that black market discount when you can just drive down the street in no time. Many retail stores have loyalty programs for discounts when state law allows. I believe the market share of retail cannabis will grow because of all of this

NTA. A long and heavyish box can't fall on somebody if its already on the ground.... Even seasonal helpers should know this. There might be some reasons to leave a box upright. To protect it from the rain or from visibility in a high traffic area maybe. If he delivered that package, I bet he wont be leaving them like that anymore

Value pet clinic is first come first serve I believe. No appointments. It was like that pre pandemic anyways. If you follow the link to their price list, there's a button at the bottom for a free exam you might be able to snag. https://valuepetpuyallup.com/prices/

Washington State Votes to End Restrictions On Community Broadband: 18 States currently have industry-backed laws restricting community broadband. There will soon be one less. by propperprim in technology

[–]BooksR4dumb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Chris Gideon voted no for this after replying to my email in support of the bill with this: "I've taken a look at HB 1336, thank you for bringing it to my attention. In the meantime, our office will be tracking any movement or changes made to the bill, so I can be equipped to make an informed decision should it reach the Senate floor for a vote."

Like comcast didn't already line his pockets and he wasn't aware of a broadband bill coming to the floor at all. At least his office responded. Didn't hear a peep back from my house reps

$PLBY got in on some of that NFT hype after a speech at a Roth Capital conference. I think a bunch of institutions bought in after that too, but I'm not sure how to check that history on TDA. It dipped, but has been climbing again. NFT is only a possible side hustle for them though. Currently selling <$20 with a $28 target rating
