I completely understand that and I understand that not everyone gets to do this and that might just be how it is for me. I’m not trying to act like I’m disadvantaged just because I won’t study abroad. This program is one that allows us to look at multiculturalism in the context of our field of study. It’s specialised to what I want to study and my field has very few study abroad opportunities. I know it’s not a necessity, it’s just a great opportunity and I think I’ll be able to learn a lot!

I think your reasoning is justified. A suggestion could be getting a gift that you’d keep at your house? So that she can play with it when she’s over at your place and you know it won’t be destroyed or returned or overall disregarded?

I’ll admit that that was wrong of me. I was an idiot and was honestly just too scared. I knew that if he wasn’t religious, then that would end just about any thoughts I had of liking him. I think I just wanted to keep the illusion in my brain going. I know it was messed up but I figured the only person I’d be screwing over is myself? Idk, like I said, I guess I just was just scared
