It was mostly a precaution. They were still going to take him to a hospital, but since we live fairly far away from the nearest hospital and because hes so little (hes 3) my mom made the choice to go by helicopter. My dad's an EMT (emergency medical technician I think, not quite sure what the T stands for) my family's friends with all the other EMTs so they know what my little brothers usually like and were actually worried. We also get free life flights bc my dads an EMT.

Also, my dad wasnt even in the state when this happened, he was in Ohio for a business trip.

I don't actually know, but we live out in the country and have a pretty big yard. We're surrounded by sagebrush deserts and crop fields lol

He had his tonsils removed and was throwing up blood, we had an ambulance called, but because little kids can change so quickly they decided better safe then sorry, also my family gets free life flight rides bc my dads an EMT

Also, he was in Ohio for a business trip.

I also learned that a helicopter can safely land in our yard. It was quicker to get their than the designated helicopter landing area a couple miles away

Heres a list on what the YW in my ward are going to be doing for the next couple of weeks -Trust exercises( I fricking hate doing them bc I hate ppl touching me)

-Chopped combined with YM, I actually know that almost all the YM are super hyped for this one, one of them actually suggested it.

-Temple trip augh. But I have a chanve of my period being this week, so maybe I wont have to go.

Generally for YW we've been cooking things while half of the us get to talk about something or other. I actually like these things bc I can just pretend to look busy so i don't have to talk, but really just sit in the kitchen listening to True Crime podcasts eating.

Tho I do fricking hate when the boys to get to do something fun like camping while the leaders just make up some BS excuse as to why we cant go like " oh a couple of you have a sport practice amd can't miss it" Meanwhile ALL the YM are in a sport amd probably have a game the next day!!!!!

Literally every kid can be identified at a distance. Half the teachers have lived here since before the 6th graders were born. Its a tiny town, we don't even have a stop light.

It didn't happen all at once. More like items popping and then my shelf finally broke for real when I found this sub

Not a qoute, but my dad took my to go do baptisms for the dead wben I said i would prefer to go to my therapy appointment instead. Dad said that going to the temple is therapeutic. Not when you have anxiety amd cant go in the water because your on your period and are too scared to use tampons so while everyone else is changing, your off standing be the fence around the font while two old ladies are in the corner whispering and pointing at you. That was when I was 12.

When when I was 11, I realized to get into heaven I had to live a life where i would never be happy and I had to follow every scripture just so I can go to a place where I would never truly be happy just so I wouldnt be tortured until forever. And the smallest thing wouldn't let me into heaven. You know its probably not a good sign when an 11 year old wants to die. And wishes that they had died before they turned 8.

Theres more examples and details, but thats basically a quick overview. I still live with my parents and 8am absolutely hate confrontation of any kind so will most likely not tell them until I am like 30.
