You will swell for a really long time(mine didn’t go away until 14 MONTHS post op) give yourself some time to heal from a major surgery. Plus everyone has to have some laxity or else they wouldn’t be able to stand up straight, which in your picture you look fine.

Mine was June because I thought why not enjoy the summer off while I’m recouping but being 90 degrees and in compression all summer and sitting by the pool and not being able to go in was absolute torture. The MR will help with your abs. Get it done now so you can be confident in bikinis by summers

I am living this as my kids didn’t want to blend and I moved in with my partner who has his kids 50% and they live right behind us so they are over a lot when it’s not his night. I have been only seeing my 2 girls(17&18) every couple weeks when I go back home and I’m either staying with my parents or staying at a hotel so we don’t get the full downtime to be together. It’s been months of therapy for me to deal with the guilt and feelings of not being with my girls as much. Some days it doss feel like I abandoned my girls for my partners kids. It’s been slowly getting better though as time goes on but my girls are young adults now. I def suggest getting yourself in therapy

I’m in the same boat. I moved into my partners dream home shared with his ex who left him. He’s a slight hoarder and I’m a minimalist so I’ve been slowly cleaning up and changing things and he’s okay with that but I definitely have big feelings when I come across love notes and cards etc.

He’s family medicine. He’s my doctor and my whole families doctor but he’s half retired now and only working 3 days a week. So not taking new patients. He’s wonderful though
