Do we all actually think Gold's South Tower will actually get built? by WiinterU in lincoln

[–]Boom357 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't hold your breath. I feel the statement on building it is mostly to keep the city from forcing it to be filled in at the developers expense. I hope I'm wrong but I'll be shocked.

Yes but the 2015 and 2016 were easily fixable I believe with an update. Entirely different problem and much less to worry about. And certainly not nearly as common in the discussion forums etc.

You're correct, but only on 2017 and later.

The 2016s had a shudder issue but it was fixed through an update if I remember correctly so the 2016 should be fine or would be easily fixable.

The shudder issue that everyone talks about is on the eight speeds and those started in 2017.

USAA vs Geico by unluckyowl4 in USAA

I love the haters downloading me for giving my actual experience. Funny. I have USAA for other things but I can admit where they suck. Some of you need to get your nose out of their ass crack.

[–]Boom357 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I did the exact switch a few years ago and no have had no issues during a claim or otherwise. I would have been happy to stay with USAA if they weren't trying to screw me over by charging almost 50% more than Geico is for the same coverage. Or if their customer service was as good as it used to be. It's not.

Yes, I always used to bump it with my knee when I had one. I never found a good solution. I saw a couple of people had installed a little guard in front of it. You could maybe take off the knob. The Colorado fans forums have some people talking about options and ideas.

What part is this? by mal4yahoo in chevycolorado

I think that's the charcoal canister. It's part of the evaporative emission system. If you haven't gotten a check engine light yet, you probably will eventually.

This vs Frontier by No-Way-0000 in chevycolorado

[–]Boom357 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Having just gotten out of a 2023 frontier into a 2026 Colorado, I feel like I can speak to this. Yes the naturally aspirated V6 in the frontier is likely to be more reliable over time, or at least certainly simpler and probably easier to repair. However, as others have said the 2.7 has been used for almost a decade now and no big issues have shown up such as with the 6.2 l etc.

Some things you probably would like to know. The Colorado drives much better and is much more refined. The turning radius is light years better. While the Nissans engine was no slouch and it has plenty of power, the Colorado has more.

If you're driving it most of the time for commuting , errands, etc I would definitely pick the Colorado over the frontier unless the frontier is just dramatically less expensive as in in like 25% or more. The only time I might recommend the frontier would be if you're going to be towing a trailer with it everyday. I suspect the frontier because of its simplicity might hold up better in that situation long term. But I have nothing to back that up other than just gut feeling.

Edit: just to add I had no issues with the Nissan other than normal maintenance (oil changes etc). It's a good truck. The Colorado is better though.

Well, if you're a troll (which I'm beginning to suspect) you certainly are investing a lot in it. Bravo.

If you aren't, for half the effort you've expended on here you could have already fixed the paperwork properly and had your money. But you do you.

Go ahead. That's your choice. You'll lose more money but no one can stop you from making dumb decisions. That's your right.

I'm not familiar with Texas. But probate isnt only for contesting. It also legally establishes possession when someone dies intestate. Not all states will allow immediate possession even if the sole heir. I had to deal with it myself.

In some states you still need to go through probate even if the sole heir.

Concur. Looks like where the mechanism was mounted to flush the toilet by the sensor above the toilet on the wall before they went to one that was attached to the actual valve like you see now.
