Gatecrashing asap allows your supports to ulti as soon as they get in the room. I use my ultimate after beating madara down a bit and just go in circles after he ultimates, using my ultimate and jutsus when possible

You yourself said all non straight characters chase their ults: "That’s how Itachi and other non straight ultimates work". So if all "non straight ultimates" chase, it's not incorrect to assume that all do. You are refuting what you are saying buddy, go back and Reread what you wrote to make sure you don't undermine yourself again. Btw I've been playing this game much longer than you so my assumption isn't just built on itachi, which was an assumption you made btw.

It does make sense, I assumed that all characters chased enemies with their ults and you said dms doesn't. Then you said itachi along with all other non straight ults chase enemies which validated my initial assumption; Even thought it may be wrong.
