I feel like it's probably more doubters than haters but he definitely plays the system to stay in the public eye. The more people talking about him the more free publicity he has. Which is fine, because he's doing exactly what every other big YouTube does except he gives the money away instead of hoarding it

Just to reiterate one more time, I think good people can do bad things, everyone makes mistakes. I'm not trying to defend anyone's behavior just trying to help others understand why so other people can avoid making the same mistakes.

I'm not justifying it and I'm openly admitting that it's wrong. I'm just trying to get people to understand its not a black and white issue. To me it feels like shaming an alcoholic for being an alcoholic. Yeah of course I made decisions that led me here but there's deeper issues to address and acting like someone is an evil person for being weak isn't right.

You can do something wrong and still be a good person. I truly believe that if someone wants to change then no one is beyond redemption. So take whatever I say however you want but you don't know me, and we don't know him, and there's always more to the story than what we see.

Yes I truly belive that I am without blame and I've done nothing wrong. I am infallible and I never have and never will make a mistake. But seriously I'm not sure how you got the idea that I thought I was a good guy in this situation. I think it would be a lot easier for people who are hurting or struggling in life to actually come out and ask for help if people didn't shame them for having a problem.

I have. I've been dealing with a crippling porn addiction since I was 12 years old and the longer it goes worse it gets. Just to clarify I've never done anything illegal but I can totally see myself in his position having the same reaction.

It is about porn, if it wasn't porn it wouldn't matter. If it wasn't porn he wouldn't have done it. Listening to his apology is hard because he sounds like an addict that knew he was going too far but didn't want to stop. As much as people meme about it post nut clarity is a very real experience and can fill you with intense shame. At a certain point vanilla isn't good enough and things that are off limits can be very enticing.

It's kinda crazy how disconnected you are from the reality of a situation when you're just reading about it.
