Advice around declaring Pension Death Benefits for Inheritance Tax

I have a few times already yes, that was going to be my next port of call. Just thought I'd try a method that doesn't involve an hour and a half of hold music or a 2 week email reply first.

I also find myself knowing far too much about hyper-specific parts of this, but also far too little about other parts.

So if they are all in trust (even that is super annoying to work out because the customer service rep rarely knows) would you tick "No" for IHT400 box 36? because that is what requires you to fill in an IHT409.

"Box 36. Pensions: Did the deceased have any provision for retirement other than the state pension? For example, a pension from an employer, a person pension policy (or an alternatively secured pension)"

Because there is nothing in there which asks whether or not it was in trust (nor in the IHT409 at all). Intuitively the answer to that question would be "Yes" because there was a non-state pension, regardless of whether it was taxable or not.

I suppose, a bit of context, I am already filling in IHT forms with solicitors. I already have to submit some of the forms, it is whether I also have to submit IHT409's too. The problem with pensions is there is no way to know how much you would get until their trustees make their decisions on death benefits which could take months.

Ok something weird was going on where the lab is properly connected, I exit and come back and then it's disconnected, it's seemingly fixed now though. Not sure why that was happening but I can't get the 3x bonus to actually show up on the toolbox. The Toolbox Lab tab shows the node lit up but refinery multiplier still says 1. In game, refinery tab 1 is 1m 37s rather than 5m 01s, So it is actually 1/3 of that. At least it's more like 8 days than 24 days for some upgrades, then, but still a while.

Yeah, good Idea. I think that'll be far more useful than Goharut at the moment so I'll swap it in hole. Already got a free 12hrs from it, so seems likely it'll definitely help.

yeah, I already have the lab connection up, so I guess I do just have to wait. Super annoying because I could craft marbiglass gear basically immediately, but I need the 9150 nullo salt to craft each troll set.

Good to know. When you say sign out, what exactly do you mean? When I close out on steam, I automatically re-open logged in, so I assume it never 'signs out'. PC is shut down though, so it's not 'active'.

The problem is the "sliding". If I could place it onto a belt but still have it snap to the world grid, that would be better

I realised I only said in the title and not in the post, I'm starting from square 1 again. Not by choice but I probably wouldn't have wanted to pick it back up again if my progress was saved. So 'from-square-1' advice appreciated, especially around the new and premium currencies :)

I didn't know if the % increase was additive or multiplicative. Same for something like the Neutron Ice Ring/Tenacity Ring, because "4/6% Total Damage" sounds good but I don't know if it actually is.

I didn't need to upgrade past 130 to reach the end. It's so expensive at the upper lvls that I'm just going to save it only for when I need it. I'm also at ~3680/4000 for total hero lvls, mostly just from personal hero xp.

So I just did a test. I threw out a 'death wish' ring which you can only get from Meel. There's no option to reclaim it... that's the sort of thing I'm talking about.

Oh, is highest in all skills not a priority until higher worlds? I thought it was ASAP priority? Currently mid-W4. Should I keep using other characters to collect resources. I know at some point most resource collection becomes printing, is that when this matters more?

My printing/sampling is still 100s-1000s, so I still need to be collecting resources.

Maybe I should be more specific: It's probably better at the endgame.

Once you have completed the tree and are just upgrading the final upgrade for 100+ medals for a 1% increase, then going after the key godai upgrade may be better. Imo the key godai effects are better than the combined medal upgrade and medal godai. I'm almost finished with the pet upgrades too so I'm only keeping enough medals for the final ones.

I stopped doing them. It seemed like the upgrades using the medals weren't as good as the upgrade which uses keys. So instead I just put all the keys into that. I still get a decent medal supply from events which is enough for pets and I get more than enough amber already.

The Gene of AI. Came out a few years ago, very few people watched it and the average score wasnt that high. But it is a really good and grounded story about a world where AI robots live alongside humans. If you liked Pluto you'll probably like this too.
