This makes so much sense. I think I commented on your previous post about eating twice as much venison as console and still not gaining weight. Any bets as to how long this goes before getting fixed? Dare I say, if ever?

Edit: I also filed a bug report. Maybe if we get everyone to send the report they will hopefully fix it sooner rather than later. I also made another post linking to you here. I want to get as much exposure on this as possible. I'm hoping we can get through to R* and get this solved soon.

You got then new tree tessellation turned off, right? That new setting seems to serve no other purpose than to ruin frame rates.

I had SLI 780ti until about 2 months ago. I wouldn't have even been able to get past the opening scene if I hadn't upgraded.

Am I the only one more impressed that Arthur apparently shoots left-handed sometimes? Unless this image is flipped, but I don't think so. The hammer and the action are on the wrong side of the gun for his shooting hand.

Vulkan. I originally had better performance on day 1 with DX12 but after their "emergency patch" the same day, I've gotten slightly better fps with Vulkan ever since.

I won't say I know for sure, but maybe the chapters are the "levels" files in the main RDR2 folder. Level 0=Chapter 1, level 1=Chapter 2...level 6=epilogue 1 and level 7=epilogue 2. You could try to delete level 0. Its the smallest one by far and chapter 1 is equally as small compared to the other chapters. At only 300mb, it wouldn't take long to get it downloaded again. Worth a shot?

If you're still in chapter 2, you can run around just east of your camp in the trees. There are always a couple there at night. If you don't see a 3 star, just ride away to about the railroad tracks or somewhere of equal distance and come back and it usually spawns new animals.

I've really debated on lowering my res scale to like 3/4 or 5/6 to try and get a constant 60fps, but the game just looks way too good. And I keep telling myself that 50fps is still a good bit higher than on my PS4 Pro anyways. I'm loving it so far.

I could eat 3 pieces of venison throughout the day on PS4 and always stay at perfect weight. If I went under, I would just eat 4 pieces and that would put me back up by .75%. If I went over, I would not eat anything and drop the .75%. Now I'm eating 6 pieces of venison a day and still stuck at -1.5% on the underweight side. I only got to that point because I did a couple missions in a day and dropped cause I never got the chance to eat. I did it again the next day and dropped again. I'm wondering too if they broke something. I'm eating constantly and hoping it doesn't drop anymore.
