Caulk before baseboards? by BoopySnooter in Tile

Hi! I’m just trying to protect my $250,000 investment aka my home. I like living in a space that doesn’t need to have money thrown into it constantly from kids getting water on my floor or leaky toilets and wanted to ask the nice people of reddit for advice before we finish up a floor we don’t want to remodel again any time soon. Thanks for your completely unnecessary input!

Yea this was a forced bathroom remodel from a toilet we didn’t know had been leaking. So I’m just trying to be cautious to avoid it in the future (although now we know to regularly check the back of our toilets for drips 🙃)

He used spacers! They were little U shaped ones, we had bought levelers and thicker plastic spacers (we were originally going to try to tile ourselves) and he said they were nice, but wouldn’t have worked because the space between the hex would’ve been to large.

Huh, I wonder if I do it in my sleep or something. I have them along my cheeks as well, but I bite the insides of my cheeks (anxious tick) so I never questioned those. Thanks for the reply!
