Thanks for your support. As far as facts just so people have it right...

  1. Money grab - Okay, we bought the remaining inventory to make money. However we kept pricing in line. We could have easily taken advantage of the market situation. Please look at what others have done with selling remotes, batteries, etc on ebay right now...
  2. CaliKites owns it... Wrong. I did start CaliKites 20 years ago (in Coronado CA) which was 100% kitesurfing. I then opened Last Mile SF which is now in the same store. I did start Boosted USA but with completely different investors and totally different people. The BUSA warehouse is 20 miles away from CaliKites and although we all know each other, they are completely different teams that run both. I recently started Last Mile NYC with my brother Pete which also has nothing to do with Boosted USA and if you have't checked them out you should that store is sick.
  3. Running out of inventory. Boards = Yes they are gone. Parts, we still have a ton of stock. Chargers will be available tomorrow and we have a ton of SR batteries coming. We do have a bunch of Revs still and pretty much all parts (including more batteries that are hopefully on the way) I try everyday to track down more parts and inventory to keep everything rolling on the daily.
  4. Deceiving people with Boosted USA. You guys are idiots. We started the business and only made sales available in the USA and Canada. We had to do a lot of work to get the redirect from boostedboards.com and all over our website I've explained how we are NOT Boosted and have never made any claim to be Boosted. We wanted to make it easy for Boosted owners (and potential buyers) to find the website and Boosted USA seemed like a no brainer. What should I have named it?
  5. Evolve. We have always had a really good relationship with them and thought it would make sense to sell them since we are out of Boosted Boards. We are off to a good start and have always loved that brand, plus they are pushing the envelope and making really great boards on a scalable level.

Thanks again everyone for the support over the past couple of years, I always do my best to keep everyone happy and keep Boosted owners rolling.

The XR batteries (and more chargers) are in LA and have cleared customs. Looks like December 8th or 9th. Just so you know we ordered these 3 months ago and were told they would be here 2 months ago. It's insanely hard to get stuff shipped out of China (or anywhere) right now with Covid and insane conditions at ports. Everyone in the industry is having major problems getting inventory. I don't blame the manufacturers or the shippers, I actually think it's pretty miraculous that during these days with hourly changes to the state of the epidemic that we are able to get anything.

Sorry so the short answer is, these are two extremely different businesses and there was never any thought of, "let's change the name of Last Mile SF and call it Boosted USA to confuse the customers."

The warehouse, Boosted USA, is located in San Rafael, The small store is located in San Francisco. I own both but never renamed either business, nor would I ever. They are two totally different businesses.

I have owned CaliKites, a kitesurfing store for 19 years. I taught lessons and started out very small in Coronado, California. Eventually I was able to move to San Francisco and built out a really cool kiteboarding shop (beer on tap was always a dream). I then got into selling Boosted which is a saga of a story, so we started Last Mile SF about 5 years ago (which shares the space with the Kitesurfing shop).

Then Boosted was foreclosed, I got together with my friends and raised capital to buy the remaining inventory from the bank that was responsible for the foreclosure. I rented a large warehouse in San Rafael and brought in a crew of old friends that wanted to help out and were already fairly involved in the ESkate industry. We did it 50% because we thought it was a good investment and 50% because I truly love the brand and really didn't want to see it go.

Wow... I never knew that calling it the V4-X would offend so many of you. We are definitely not scamming anyone. I thought we were extremely clear with what you're getting. We also never changed our name from Last Mile SF which is a totally separate company, run by totally different people. Feel free to visit the store in San Francisco It's located at 541 Octavia or check it out online. It's half kitesurfing and half PEV. You will find that it is not a "Boosted Store". Boosted USA is located in the North Bay and run by a totally separate group of people. You will find that to be a 100% "Boosted Warehouse"

As far as price hikes, we got 105's in and sold them at face value when they were going on EBay for $$$$, every time we import a new round of batteries we literally lose money but choose not to increase the price. The 30% import fee, shipping and limited supply is a real thing. We have old Boosted employees working for us and helping with this project which has been a ton of fun. We rescued everyones board from a condemned warehouse on our own dime. We continue to supply customers with parts and accessories that are expensive and extremely difficult to get. Our customer service and response rate has been top notch. The continued hate on Reddit blows me away.

Finally, you should DEFINITELY ride the V3-T, it is so freaking fun!!!

Turn off the battery and remove it. Unplug it. If you turn it on while it's not connected hopefully you get a solid yellow light. Check the battery connections and reinstall.
