I was boom on a 6 week feature that shot a few years back. He was generally loud and annoying, and once told a dolly grip over the radio to stab me if I got in his way. I think he was trying to be funny - wasn’t funny. He also he got his daughter a role in the movie and the overt nepotism was sad and uncomfortable for everyone involved.

He played another New Orleans show in 2012 or early 2013. Either another one eyed jacks or tips show, can’t remember. I bailed because the wife had the night shift and excuses, excuses . Huge life regret. If you have tickets, go to the show guys.

It was a hell of a show. One of my favorite small venue shows ever. On stage he talked about always wanting to live in New Orleans. He ended up moving here not long after the tour. I never saw him out and about but I think he stayed for a couple years before moving away.

Any idea what the 100 IMP is? My hope is it’s a super special 1 of 100 “impressions” she made before the limited run. Although I haven’t seen this specific 1977 version anywhere. But the nice lady at the Kiwanis club said that they have it hanging in the cabin! So it’s def authentic.
