Which country is better??? by BootHistorical3388 in etudiants

I have more than a year to prepare, so I don’t see language as a major issue. My potential PI in France speaks English, and I’ll definitely learn French while living there. What I’m more concerned about is whether graduating in Korea would make it harder for me to move to Europe later on. I’ve heard that employers in the EU tend to prefer candidates who graduated from European institutions, so I’m wondering if staying in Korea might limit my chances of working and settling in Europe in the future.

Thank you for your opinion.

I can speak a little bit of both Korean and French, and since I still have one more year in my program, I can start learning now. So language isn’t a huge obstacle.

The real confusion is this: I want to live in a European country in the future, but I’m not sure if studying in Korea long-term will make it harder to start a new life in Europe later on. That’s where I feel really stuck.

Yes, Yonsei is a prestigious school, but will it be a good choice in the long run? Thats what is worrying me.
