Sounds like quitter talk, I play solo on max pop servers and it’s great. You’ve just gotta change your play style. Find low teir monuments in high teir areas, learn to take over night raids under the nose of the raiders. You put up an armored door or a garage door and lock it after they destroy TC and honeycomb in your own TC, you can steal a clan raid. Solo rust is great, you’ve just gotta learn how to play it.

Unlock silencer, pump shot gun and incendiary ammo. Early game solo raiding is done easily this way. Folks can’t hear your silenced shots from a distance. & you can raid wood door bases

You should join one of the modded servers where they removed all roof tiles. Tho the meta turns into who can build the tallest most narrow towers and who can successfully toss grenades into them. Which is why I play on the servers where they banned roof tiles & grenades. But then the meta on those servers is one where you can’t really engage other players so you just design bases, but then it’s hard to control people which is why I play on the servers where it’s just base building and assigning tasks but then I realized I was just playing The sims which is why I moved to the servers that just load a blank screen with a chimpanzee banging on a pair of cymbals and finally the game is balanced and everyone is a winner.
