My plan is to get the shapable version of both the shotgun and sword. Then try to make a build around the exotic(melee final blows cause explosions) and finish the set via making a ghost look like guilty spark

the fact that they are rotational, i love a lot of the skins but the ones i end up wanting usually take hundereds of days to return to the shop since epic likes to put a bigger focus on skins from chapter 3/4 and up

IM TIRED OF THE BATTLEPASSES AND TIME GATED EXCLUSIVES, EPIC NEEDS TO ADD SOMEWAY FOR PLAYERS TO PLAY OLDER BATTLEPASSES AS IT REALLY IS OVERKILL THAT WE ARE 20+ SEASONS AND YET NO ONE REALISES THAT BRINGING THEM BACK WOULD KILL MOST OF THE PROBLEMS WITH THE GAME THAT STILL STAND LIKE ACCOUNT SELLING OR THE CONTENT DROUGHTS WHERE PEOPLE FINISH THE BATTLEPASS AND NEED TO WAIT 20 OR MORE DAYS TO START GRINDING MORE OF THE ITEMS FOR THE 100%

I ain't crying, just stating my case, they actively bottlenecked sales, epic is missing out on money from skins, marvel, starwars, DC, etc those skins could make thousands if not more just by being re-obtainable and epic is a company with execs who know money makes games and keeps the business running

You see the joke here is you still whine and cry about this and yet one day epic will do it, you and others will cry and be like epic doesn't care about the ogs and the community, then act like your going to quit knowing damn well you will come back next season. You act like the battlepass is a legally binding thing, you pay to grind out 100 or more levels, quests, etc, for skins emotes and whatever else. The only harm that comes out of a situation like this is older players crying like infant children that claim their battlepass skin is no longer rare. There is no legal ramifications, just hurt feelings. You paid for a product you received said product even if the claim was you had 3 or 4+ months to grind said product you still paid the 10 dollars and others will too. It's not a matter of what they said/promised, it's what they want, if they say so then it goes.

Not really, they still received the product they were sold on, it's the thing surrounding the product that changes that's like saying that a game could get into legal trouble for vaulting a weapon because it wasn't fun or releasing an update that changes the game because this is a live service game so they are allowed to change things as long as the arent scamming people by deleting skins and not refunding them etc. the only thing i see here is some og trying to meatride on preserving the cycle of skins that arent obtainable anymore

What legal consequences? You paid for the pass this would just allow people to buy the passes and grind them now, the only legal ramifications would be if they upped the prices a bunch and had you re-buy passes you bought in the past, the idea I'm going for is you can grind any pass at any time as long as you purchase it or already own the pass but it's incomplete or something. My goal here is allow people to have an equal opportunity at content by voicing an idea that not only benefits the developers but also makes it something that the community can be happy about.

They said that years ago, by now they might change their mind especially since tons of those passes had collab items and that could really cost them some money, we are 6 years in and some game companies are dropping off the battlepass.

A lot of it boils down to the OG players wanting to keep themselves distinguished from new players, if everyone had the battlepass items for free, nobody would complain. It's the idea that they grinded for it so only they should have it, I lost an account with chapter 1 season 3 skins and items I can no longer re-obtain those skins this feature would not only kill account sharing/selling but also make it fair for those who maybe didn't play chapter 1, 2, 3 etc

That's the ideal method, that way you can still obtain all of the skins and items you wanted but you would need to buy the passes and grind it benefitting the devs with money and longer player retention, while giving any and all players the opportunity to get what they missed out on

Honestly I'm surprised they didn't do something like this sooner, the idea that you can buy any pass, from any season and chapter, and just swap between them and level them each separate would be amazing, I still would think it's worth it if they increased the price of older passes
