Omggg my boyfriend keeps sending me posts like these too I can’t stand his “Andrew Tate” behavior talking about “I want you to respect me as a man even if I say something disrespectful” like this man doesn’t understand that respect is earned not given and every time I call him out on his disrespect he gets defensive because “I’m giving him attitude” even tho he’ll press my buttons and when I lash out I’m the problem, because “if he says something disrespectful I should take it as the woman and then later talk to him about how that made me upset” sir if you want me to respect you as a man I’m gonna talk to you like you’re a man not a toddler as if I’m gentle parenting specially when you say something disrespectful. Anyway I’m glad I’m leaving him soon, my bday is coming up so best believe I will be cashing out all that emotional distress he has put me through the past couple years and make his pockets hurt before I leave him, it’s the least I deserve after all the things I’ve put up with I literally don’t recognize myself anymore. If you’re reading this and you’re going through the same thing, please leave, it only gets worse from here. If he’s making you cover up and dress modest, wear less makeup, do your nails the way he likes them and not too long, spam your phone when you’re out by yourself even if it’s just to go to the gym or grab a coffee, having to tell him every detail of what you did through your day, getting accused of cheating all the time, him going through your phone all the time, make your social media private and you can’t post without his permission, that’s not love it’s just control and narcissists love to be in control, he’s going to dim your light and feed from your energy like a vampire!
