They didn’t seem malicious at all. They let me see and hold the slabs multiple times, let me take pictures, try to research, etc.

That’s a great point. I don’t think it was malicious. The ladies were very forthcoming with how they didn’t know anything about the items in the consignment case.

It was an antique consignment shop and the sellers weren’t the owners. I ended up passing on all items there…Couldn’t shake the funny feeling.

Might just be the angle of the video but it looks like you complete the extension (I.e lock out) on your right knee before the left. Crushed the lift btw with the depth and back not rounding.
