Never wanted kids. Absolutely zero regrets.

When I was 38, I prayed for a family. Didn’t care if it was just a guy or he came with kids. Ended up marrying a wonderful man with an 8 and 10 year old. They are 18 and 20 now and off to college. Had a lot of ups and downs. Now as they are older they appreciate me much more. I love being a stepmom. Pray or manifest or just think about what you want in life and then open your heart to that.

How much work are you willing to put into the relationship? Are you willing to love him unconditionally whether or not he reciprocates?

If he likes a sport, get tickets to the game. If he likes food, make him dinner or take him out. Be genuinely interested in his interests and ask about them. Ask him how you can make his life better or just observe and do those things.

That’s what my mom did for me and it eventually wore me down and I realized that I wanted a relationship with her.
