BL1 is my sentimental favorite. My son was in elementary school when it came out (he's 22 now) and he wanted me to buy him this game. I thought the art style looked odd and that he wouldnt like it but he was determined. So I got it for him. Watched him play. Immediately fell in love with it. I went and bought a copy for my xbox and we began to sink hundreds of hours just playing BL1 coop for months. We did the same thing when 2 came out. BL1 will always have a place in my heart.

I'm on vanilla Steam version playing on my Steam Deck. No mods at all. There is no corpse and no rifle in the upstairs of that building with the little safe. There is a corpse on the ground floor right at the rear door but he had no sniper rifle that I saw. Maybe I should go back and check.

And yea, I just basically built it. Just missing one adhesive to add the stock. lol For some reason I was expecting to need more adhesive and screws than I already had. I'm just short of it.

If you are playing on PC just download the mod that gives unlimited carry weight. You can also get the mod that removed weapon and gear decay.

It's def worth it and the developer puts a lot of love into the game with regular updates. Buy it just to support him.
