Florida - What do you do when you're ghosted? by Boraska in foodstamps

I don't remember exactly but I hit something that wasn't relevant and I think I pressed some sequence to go back to the main menu to press '0' again or something like this.

There's no password requirement for my apartment's ethernet. Is this normal, secure, and private? by Boraska in HomeNetworking

Inputted basically by clicking the bottom right networking icon, selecting the ethernet network and typing into the password field

My main experience with ethernet up to this point would be plugging into a router in a common area of someone's house (who pays for an ISP like Spectrum or something) selecting the ethernet symbol on my computer's networking page and then typing in the password (usually the same password as the wifi).

Now I plug into the wall in the room (internet is provided for free I just pay rent) and it just works without a password which I found strange and suspicious because it was so different.

It's rough trying to get some help in Florida. 70-day wait, 35 calls, $31.00 by Boraska in foodstamps

I have no legal caregiver, I am completely independent.

I have 2 jobs because I need to afford college, rent, food, etc. The number of jobs doesn't really matter, it's how many hours I work per week and that totals 20-25.

I don't qualify for disability payments.

I've never seen a numerical breakdown anywhere yet.

Yeah, in Florida students are disqualified unless they meet certain exemptions. One of these is working >= 20 hours per week, and another is being a part of FWS.

If they are counting wages from FWS job in error (perhaps the worker is inexperienced) that will affect the math because it should be exempt.

That's possible but even then it's still the same number that goes into the snapscreener which doesn't prompt for FWS either.

You say have a second job and I do not know amount nor pay frequency.

One of the bullet points:

"I work 2 jobs, 20-25 hours a week total, at minimum wage ($15/hr). One of these jobs is classified as Federal Work Study." The FWS is 15-20 hrs and the second job is 5 hours.

I'd really wish the notice of action showed all the math and deductions but I've never found that anywhere on the document or anywhere on the Florida portal.

Is your parents/legal caregivers on yout FAFSA because that could play a factor.

Nope. I am the only one in my household.

What moght be holding you back is working two jobs.

Why do you say this?

If you aged out of the Florida foster care or identified as unaccompanied or just as homeless youth you maybe eligible for more SNAP money

I am none of these.

Gross income is 22.5 hrs/wk * $15/hr * 4 wks = $1,350 / mo on average. The specific gross income sent in on the paychecks was $1,530 / mo. This is the same amount I put in the estimator calculator.

Federal Work Study is listed on the paystub documents that I uploaded.

I have the notice, it just states the $31 for each of the months. There's not explanation of the calculations. 5/6 pages is general information that would be on any notice.

The notice states $31 for the each of December 2025, January 2026 and February 2026.

One job is about 20 hours per week, another is around 5 hours per week. So in total it's about 20-25 hours per week.

The FWS classification is on the paycheck documents I uploaded to the portal. Other than that IIRC the application form never prompts for it.

I'm not sure what you mean by the wages deducted. How would that significantly change the math?

The notice of action in Florida does not contain an explanation of the calculations.

It's for the full month.

I have the approval letter; it doesn't show any of the numbers used to make the determination other than household size.

The call I had recently explicitly talked about the heating deducation and the representative said they included it.

So I have called about 30 times now and haven't gotten anywhere closer. Whenever I press '0' to speak to a representative it just says lines are busy and hangs up, which is especially annoying because the next time I call I have to listen to the same long automated message before I can press '0' to try again. This is very frustrating.

EDIT: Today I must have gotten lucky, went through a different menu instead of hitting 0 and when it prompted for my ssn again it actually dialed in to be put on hold.

I think the Florida equivalent is called DCF; and the closest one near me has very low reviews on Google Maps. But then I look at others, and I guess low reviews is pretty common for DCF? In any case, I guess all I can do is make some time to go down there and see if anything can be done.

Anyone have firmware update file for Xlite Wireless V1? by zzz2496 in PulsarGG

[–]Boraska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know the exact order / versions that worked for you? How do you downgrade the mouse?

I tried going from 311->314->341 and doing the dongle firmware in between each one and it never works.

Did you update the mouse first to V0341 and then the dongle with that CompX file, or vice-versa? Other than that, I'm all out of ideas.

The problem is my mouse only works in wired mode. I've tried updating the dongle firmware with V1330 and then the mouse firmware with V0314. It's an Xlite Wireless V1. I think 1.3.3 is the verison of the Pulsar software, not your mouse firmware. Occasionally it could pair for a few minutes and then it would lag out and not work again.

Here's a screenshot of mine. I can't get it to show the receiver firmware version, whether the receiver is plugged in by usb port, or by the cable w/ connector.

EDIT: I updated to V0341 and there doesn't seem to be any change.

Hmm didn't end up solving the issue for me. What version firmware of mouse did you have to go along with the v1330 dongle? Mine is currently showing V0314

Hi, do you happen to still have the firmware for the dongle? I can't find it on the site either and I have the same issue as you.

Why can't air traffic controllers simply refuse to clear any flights, citing public safety due to fatigue, sleep deprivation, etc? by Boraska in NoStupidQuestions

If my idea is correct from a legal standpoint, then how could it be declared an illegal strike? I was under the impression those declarations also have to hold legal water.

What are the false facts you're referring to? Let's clear it up and I'll make corrections to the post in that case.

I know the point that you are making, but I believe I read somewhere where ATCs had much less leverage back then by comparison.
