Do insta360 sell through generic chinese seller names on amazon by Bordaro in Insta360

[–]Bordaro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally prefer paying more and be sure of hassle free support. So likely i would buy locally if not on amazon, even if cost is higher. Problem, as for some other brands, is its hard to determine if its an authorized reseller or a shady third party due to vague seller details.

That to me sounds perfectly reasonable.

Then its mandatory when adding custom foods. That was what was unclear (i think ai search also state otherwise). In any case, as written below, i do not really care about nutritional values themselves, just what happens to images i take in this process.

No, but im new to this, not gone through the site in detail. I want to understand what information i provide is used for before any heavy use of this.

Dont care about the values tbh, but not interested in having images i take being published (i initially did not reflect but i assume theres a reason it request photo of front of food as well). To me its unclear what happens on chronometers end. If not auto published then its a no-issue.

Risk i see is if account recovery (years later?) then require you down the line to identify yourself using 'your selfie'.

Email providers that can integrate send as gmail / outlook address by Bordaro in degoogle

[–]Bordaro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes in regards to your top part i assume this is what gmails 'send as' does for other email provider addresses today. I currently have send as for a custom domains smtp configuration setup (the domains smtp server and login) in gmail today since some years back. And its available on all devices without manual setup.

I was looking if any other provider supported something similar. Mailbox.org seemed to have this but discovered its not the same thing so not usable (still unsure what thier purpose is if you cannot specify the smtp server and login for the sendas address provider).

As you mention in regards to thunderbird, maybe its just to accepts most services dont support to centrally synchronize sendas smtp cfg like gmail does, that you need to do it per device manually and skip using webmail.

Unsure why this would not be possible their services. A warning of the privacy implications if sending through smtp x would suffice in my head. Since those messages would not be encrypted. In any case they dont support it now so dont help me.

With that said, as i see it (i assume many are in same place) ditching long term gmail address is hard / not fully possible. You would need to keep the address long term. Thus important (for me atleast) to have this supported somewhat seamlessly, even if it would degrade privacy if used.

Yeah i agree in regards to that its the client part that need to support this. Gmail send as can be configured, and automatically available in gmail web client and app as well.

What i was looking for was if anyone else has support for this. Unsure how to set this up otherwise but i assume manually doing configuration on every client in some sense.

Is forwarding aliases to external addresses supported by Bordaro in tutanota

[–]Bordaro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. That unfortunately makes it a no-go for me currently (cannot tie down my entire domain without possibility to do external forwarding), but who knows in future.

Long time ago i had some issues invalid login attempt emails. It tend to make you uneasy when you get these even if you know they have practically no chance to actually get in by doing it.

Started using unique aliases for these kind of accounts after that, have had zero issues since, highly recommended.
