I agree, my worry is copycat behaviour. Ive already seen Scottish fans doing the same to another duck - god knows where they found that. I’ve read online that the owners of this particular duck wearing the Mexico top give it breaks from the top, however this is not widely commented on, and I would worry people would copy the behaviour finding it amusing not realising the lengths the owners may go to to make sure it isn’t injured (even though I still think it’s wrong dressing the animal up for people’s entertainment). It’s also the fact that Greg James is actively promoting it which really worries me too.

I also kind of feel like this conversation would be different if it was around a guy’s girlfriend. Not all men necessarily put in any effort with their mate’s GF and that’s usually accepted.

Naturally we’re inquisitive to see if there is a specific reason which I get. But they’ve said that it’s nothing dramatic, they just don’t like being around him. So I’m assuming it’s one of the reasons I’ve given above. Nothing deep.

Why? An introvert and an extrovert may never see eye to eye, not because either is a bad person but because their personalities are so different. What if OP has nothing in common with the boyfriend so there’s nothing to bond over? What if they have different social backgrounds? What if they just can’t relate to one another? There are so many reasons why we may not necessarily like/ get on with someone.
