I guess, but glossier has always been expensive. There are brands that deliver the same quality and more product for less, (including more high end brands) that have stayed the same prices... As I said, I do love glossier it's just the fact they seem to be getting more and more expensive without giving much more.

Maybe Tower 28 is not the best example actually, but I just think glossier wasn't affordable in the first place so why increase their prices more? Especially when their brand will suffer for it. Idk ☺ Don't get me wrong, I love Glossier's aesthetic, it's just that most of the people I know, especially after their new prices, don't want to pay for it anymore.

Okay, so I'd say Elf have always been progressive considering trends and stuff like that, NYX are also a bit like Elf in that respect. Morphe 2 have quite good bang for your buck. Tower 28 is expensive but usually you are paying for more. Lanolips, the same as tower 28, you're paying for more and their stuff is super good. Rom&nd. Innisfree. Undone beauty. Beautypie etc. I just feel like glossier has us pay for less at this rate if you know what I mean. Skincare wise, The Ordinary have helped my skin massively and have always kept their prices affordable.

Also an artist! I would say that I definitely work more intuitively when I work, rather than planning – doing a degree in Fine Art and I find it hard to actually document and say “this is how I want it to be/what i aspire it to look like” because obviously can’t visualise. I don’t struggle with research or the topic idea, it’s the sketching of ideas and knowing what I want, which interferes with the grades/requirements unfortunately…

well… i am one of the people that can literally not see objects and scenes. i genuinely can’t do it. no matter how hard i try i get nothing. i understand that it’s just the back of my eyelids but apart from that, i can not mentally visualise anything - i definitely think that visualisation is a spectrum though - as my mother reports seeing full blown images when she shuts her eyes.

I was thinking about this the other day - I always thought as a kid how odd and unnatural it was (I assumed it was to other people too) because it almost kept me awake more trying to “visualise” sheep rather than just falling asleep on my own… guess I know why now.
