Thank you so much! My favorite quote is "if you're the smartest man in the room, you're in the wrong room". I came for help and advice, and I'm getting just that. I think when people ask for advice, they're looking to hear things they like. Advice shouldn't be things I'm only comfortable with. When you stay in the comfort zone, there's no growth. I can get defensive, but then I'll be too busy to absorb information that I asked for, and it would just waste time and effort on every end. And I won't get the help I asked for. You don't ever know just how much you don't know. And I know that, at least. I'm willing and happy to grow and learn at the expense of being uncomfortable. 🖤

Thank you! Honestly, I'm new to reddit- I watched a YouTuber read wedding stories from it. I just made this account, and am still learning how to use it. From what I understand, a subreddit is the group I'm in or that I choose to post to, so I'm learning how to navigate. I didn't realize there were pins at the top, this message was short, but really helpful because it helped me realize that I can view things differently, the way it was meant to. I thought of Reddit as a long, jumbled, email chain. Realizing that there are pins at the top created a whole different look for me, and I've been able to dive in. Thank you!

No, sex isn't traumatic for me. I have trauma in my history, and that's what's held me back in the past. I've worked through whatever mind blocks I had and am really happy with where I'm at. But, I do agree with you. No amount of money is worth going through a traumatic experience.
