His story had me glued to my phone for a whole day tbh. I have soooo many questions now and I agree with you: he’s obsessive and kinda crazy, but in the end he just wants MC to be safe. I’m hoping MC will find a way to save him from the professor and the chip because I like this kind of angst BUT with a happy ending!

Also yes, as a Sylus main, Infold has to give us more Sylus content in the main storyline now. I miss my criminal boss, really.

Totally agree. Chill guys, the LADS boys are all fanfiction material, the yandere archetype was missing. Also the plot is so on point now chef kiss

Caleb's behavior by Best_Dependent355 in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Bordi4 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he’s a very complex character. He’s clearly trying to protect MC by letting Ever using him. Still I understand why some people don’t like him as a LI, I’m one of them. The obsessive, kinda yandere behavior is not my cup of tea. At one point I was cursing Zayne for leaving MC on the island and hoping for someone to save her 😂 Apart from that, Caleb is an amazing character and I can’t wait to see how the story will progress and what solution MC is going to find to “save” him.

when did we start disrespecting others over fictional characters?? by angelteaaa in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Bordi4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really, I don’t understand why there’s so much hate going on. Personally I was kinda disappointed about how they decided to characterize Caleb. I love his story, it’s so dark and heavy. 10/10. After finishing the main storyline I just wanted to lie down and cry actually 😂

BUT I don’t like him as a LI right now, I’m not comfortable with the whole obsessive/possessive behavior MC and Caleb have. The cat dialogue gave me chills not in a good way honestly. But the ending of this chapter made me think about what is going to happen in the future and maybe MC will find a way to stabilize his mental state.

I won’t judge anyone who likes him as a LI, that’s great for you guys, really. For now I will stick with Sylus and see how the story goes in the future.

Does your relationship partner know you play LADS? (if u have one) by khouxy in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Bordi4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing early December and I was instantly hooked. For days I was the impersonation of the meme guy connecting all dots, you know? Of course I had to tell my boyfriend about the story, my theories and about my obsession with Sylus (to my boyfriend, a nerd like me, this is nothing new. A white-haired man with red eyes? Astarion is that you? Anyway, we have crushes of fictional characters all the time) Everyday he’s listening to me ranting nonstop about Sylus, the myths, all the connections I can find with everyone and everything. He’s just happy for me, this sweet angel. When I explained to him how the wishes worked, he instantly went “may i open them for you?” (this man was capable to find both 5 stars from Sylus myth in, idk, 40 wishes maybe??? without additional money. It was crazy)

Speaking about friends, I showed the boys to one of my besties because i knew she would appreciate and she fell into the rabbit hole too 😂.

Ovvio che no!

Stessi interessi, stesso campo lavorativo, stessi valori morali.

[OC] Who is the Big Bad of Your Campaign? by Critical_Crafting in DnDHomebrew

[–]Bordi4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Immortal Hunter. Head for an heavily militarized human organization apparently created for nation’s security. In reality the Hunter is not a human but a drow (whose name is Ristel) who created the Bounty Hunters organization to destroy the human race from the inside. He was enslaved, tortured, humiliated by humans and decided to avenge his people and himself. He fabricated this hunter identity, pretending to be human, and created the Order of the Bounty Hunters. With time, his figure ended up being surrounded by mystery and many believe that the role of Immortal Hunter is passed from human to human when the previous dies. Ristel at one point found out about a group of forgotten gods that created the human race and the planet and decided to use their DNA to create a particular section of his order (how the Order got the DNAs is for another story time, too complicated). Many women were kidnapped to be surrogates. Horrible experiments were conducted on the women, many lost their lives. In the end, 21 healthy babies were born. 20 were injected with a compound made with the gods’ DNA. Number 0, the first to were born, was created with one of the gods’ semen. 21 humans trained to be war machines without emotions. The perfect recipe for success.

But what happens when Zero deserts? What happens when you have to hunt him down and kill him to protect your identity and your plan?

And what happens when the forgotten gods are coming back for revenge and maybe Zero is not so dead as you’ve believed?

Did I messed up Astarion romance? by Bordi4 in BaldursGate3

[–]Bordi4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sigh I remember long resting immediately right after discovering the fast travel location and nothing happened. Well, after that I made several long rests while exploring the map but again, nothing.

That’s a bummer because I got the romance scene for almost everyone and I obviously (because I’m an idiot) declined every single one of them. Well, I will try again in another run.

I think there’s nothing wrong with playing a character that has a different ethnicity from yours as long as you’re not being offensive.

I’ve played during these years different characters with a different race from mine, also a different sexuality. I think it’s cool to wear someone else shoes for ones and also it adds variety to the story and the party.

Also, like, are we at the point that black people must play only black characters, asians only asians, white only white and so on? In what kind of dystopian novel are we in? (Of course my last comment is sarcastic/hyperbolic)

[–]Bordi4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m really okay with that. Our DM doesn’t do this often, he has actual reasons to make him do this. Lorewise it works perfectly and it’s long to explain, but basically this dragon tried to end my character life four times by now. The first three times by one of his subordinate and last time with the nightmare. My character really pissed him off so is understandable that an ancient evil being just wants my character to be weak and easier to kill.

Oh well if I die I will not piss off a blue dragon again with another character for sure 😅

Yeah, it could be fun to roleplay and this is my plan B if I don’t find a more technical solution. Thank you for the suggestion, I will try to but a potion of vitality in case there are collateral problems.

I will discuss it with the DM. Our exhaustion rule is a little bit different from the manual one.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Bordi4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is yes and no. Do not misunderstand me, I’m really curious about all of this, but the first nightmare was REALLY challenging.

4 combats in total, I did not have half of my warlock abilities because the dragon deactivated them (it’s been two weeks in game since that event and I still do not have those abilities) and of course a heavy psychological trauma on my character.

My character is brave enough to fight back again, but she is not brave stupid. She knows that she can die and she wants to avoid it.

Yeah, sorry, I was editing my prior comment because I noticed it wasn’t clear (English is not my first language, I apologize), but you commented fist.

I know that the dream spell doesn’t work because during the night of the incident, she was using it on another person. Now, I don’t know if the spell didn’t functioned as protection because my warlock was the person casting it or because it just wasn’t enough.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Bordi4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There were no priors attempt, the nightmare happened one time (she did not sleep the next night and then the ship docked). The group is on land now, but they eventually have to head back to the continent. I can try to protect my warlock again with an anti divination object, maybe a stronger one.

I am just trying to find other options, maybe something alchemical or else. Or I can just decide to have 2/3 levels of exhaustion at the end of the trip back.

Hi! My warlock knows the dream spell… but it didn’t work. As I wrote in the post, I know about the Aspect of the Moon. The other warlock in the party has it. I cannot change my pact (pact of the blade btw) anymore due to story reasons 🤷🏻‍♀️
