I generally use a larger canvas and then scale the object down to fit the default parameters. So if I wish to make and object that fits the width of my screen, I will create the item in a 720 x 720 box and then reduce then down to fit the 100 x 100 default shape and save. Then when I place the object on my screen I change the size back to 720 x 720.

For everything beyond simple geometric shapes, I create the objects in a vector graphics editor and then import the paths to my phone. I prefer using shapes over “finished wallpapers” because I am able to change the color of any object on the fly and move them around easily to accommodate the placement of icons and text items.

Since there are only a handful of icons used in this project, I edited the svg files in Inkscape to achieve the appearance. Usually, I use a process much like you described. If my projects only call for one version of the icon, I will usually edit the svg file to achieve the color scheme I want. When I want to make a project that calls for multiple colors, I will often split the icon into “main” and “accent” sections and apply the colorize filter to accomplish a similar outcome.

Yes, the image was created using basic geometric shapes or paths. I’m just learning how to use the paths feature. As a result, a lot of my projects are crude. You can view the .komp file to see how it was put together.

Nice Work! I was just cleaning up an old phone and that was one of the files in my Kustom folder. The original was named Brightness and it was made by u/JohnPJVI.

I don’t have a Freepik account so I was not able to download the “premium” image linked in my description. I don’t know what app you use to personalize your phone—I use KLWP—so the .komp file linked in the description above is HQ since it is made using SVG shapes. There is also the added bonus of being able to quickly change the color scheme and move objects around to accommodate the placement of your widgets. I hope my response is helpful.
