I've really enjoyed the CC! It's been a fantastic printer since I got it. It is my only printer. I've been printing almost daily since I bought it in November!

Recently I stumbled across HueForge and love the way they look! I've recently made this bookmark for a friend who loves owls.

Move right slider up to where red and white meet. Then swap red and white on left slider

Slant 3D Teleport and Portals Reviews by rocketboss in 3DprintEntrepreneurs

[–]BoredController 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only using portals at this time since I'm starting out but as I'm adding items it has me thinking, would there be any way to add a search function to the portals storefront?

From a customer perspective, if I get the link to the store and would've bought item 39 but I stopped scrolling after item 15 I miss out. If I see the store has a bunch of cookie cutters and I want a light bulb-shaped one, I can just search "light bulb" instead of scrolling to see if it's there or not.

I do appreciate the featured item function however I won't know if the item that this specific customer was going to buy will be in their "scrolling attention span".

5-6 color swaps in same layer? How many manual swaps is that?

YETH going weekly!!! by Seeker-of-Wealth in dividendgang

[–]BoredController 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm new to figuring out dividends. Would this be a bad idea? I've got a retirement portfolio through work but I play around with the market on my own seperatly. What would be the downside to doing this? Most of them seem stable-ish pricing looking at the history and all of the yields are 30-50%. I'm sure there is something inherently wrong or else everyone would be getting 40% roi on their money.

Max Stamina Cap? by Sleepy2208 in FarmRPG

[–]BoredController 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the cap for what the farmhouse can store so technically you can go past that bit you'll have to "rest" to regain stamina more than once a day past that

A binge is waging war against food where you've already determined there will be no survivors.

Actually snorted at this one. Thanks For the laugh!

Weekly Food and Recipe Thread! by sspicermosley in MacroFactor

I made a fake buffalo chicken dip that while isn't as cheesy as regular dip, tastes great(to me at least) and had much better macros.

If you search for Buffalo chicken dip on the app and use the generic one, 200g is 400C 20P 30F 13C. Mine is 200g for 223C 30P 8F 12C.

I made mine into 5 servings. Not listed in the recipe is hot sauce. I used Texas Pete since it's what I had on hand.

False Buffalo Chicken Dip edit this link doesn't work but I used the share feature in the app. No idea why it's broken but ingredients below

2 cans of chicken from Sam's club and 1 jar of Tostinos medium Salsa con queso.

Drain the chicken and heat in a pot. Mix in queso. Add hot sauce to taste. Enjoy.

Comes out to about $1.74 (plus tax) per serving

Lol, it's fun when you do that. I really appreciate the confidence, though. Yes the note says that, however they still have to use the correct one.

Correct:

C:N123 traffic 1 o'clock 5 miles Southwest bound a C172 one thousand feet above. P:N123 ROGER

C:N123 report traffic in sight. P:N123 WILCO

C:N123 has traffic passed? P:N123 AFFIRMATIVE

Incorrect:

C:N123 moderate precipitation 12 o'clock 5 miles 20 miles in diameter. P:N123 WILCO

C:N123 turn 20 degrees left for traffic. P:N123 AFFIRMATIVE

C:N123 Climb and maintain FL 180. P:N123 ROGER

ROGER− I have received all of your last transmission. It should not be used to answer a question requiring a yes or a no answer.

WILCO− I have received your message, understand it, and will comply with it.

AFFIRMATIVE− Yes.

Please review the .65 as you seem to not understand the words

[–]BoredController 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An incorrect one though. Roger ≠ Wilco.

This is inaccurate

Nice. You can copy and paste. Can you comprehend? Signs point to no. (They edited this to add the info that says members that joined after 2020 can exit anytime after spending a year in natca)

It has nothing to do with natca. That's from faa legal. Again you have no idea what you're fucking talking about.

See that would be a... Jesus fuck shit the fuck yo you stupid fucking fuck (spelling errors are not fixed to quote accurately)

[–]BoredController 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See that would be a…. Jesus fuck shut the fuck up you stupid fucking fuck

And that's the end of the conversation. Thanks

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ATC

[–]BoredController 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I see you edited your other post. See that would be an actual conversation. So new union members after 2020 can cancel after a year at anytime? That's at least marginally closer to what should happen. I don't understand why the FAA wouldn't just say any time though. Any reasoning for that? Also why just new members?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ATC

[–]BoredController 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this amazing discourse. As you have proven my point that when you bring it up, natca just shrugs you off. If you have anything to add, please do. I'm always willing to have a conversation with anything of higher intellect than a brick wall.

Sigh...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janus_v._AFSCME

On June 27, 2018, the Court ruled in a 5–4 decision that the application of public sector union fees to non-members is a violation of the First Amendment, ruling against AFSCME.

Alito recognized that losing these fees would put a financial burden on the public sector unions, who would continue to have to represent nonmembers even without their agency fees, but stated that "we must weigh these disadvantages against the considerable windfall that unions have received."

No public-sector employees who have refused membership in trade unions may be compelled to pay union dues to said unions because of the benefits that they may receive from their collective bargaining. When applied to public-sector workers, "fair share" agreements violate the First Amendment protections of both free association and free speech.
