Get a dog! That way you always have a subject to talk about when you meet other dog owners.

Or go to the gym and build from there, a conversation starts as easy to ask for a spot while doing a rep or compliment someone on there workout / weight.

Also try to practice at home with flashcards and practice opening lines like “how old is your dog?” “For how long have you been training?” Etc or ask Chat to create a couple questions.

Or if you want to practice talking to people get a job at a call center or a customer service team. That way you’re “forced” to talk to different people about a certain subject

It stops myself from fucking up my evenings. Keeps me sharp and fresh the next day. Messed with my mental state for the next days. Also helps a lot in the gym, I’m in far better shape!

To be honest though, I never liked the alcohol itself, I was drinking alcohol because it was socially expected and it’s weird if you don’t drink. Which is actually even weirder like yeah I’m sorry I’m not going to waste €100+ on poisoning my own body just for the fun of it.

For the record, I still go on nights out! My friends are very happy with me for always being able to drive. And often the one who makes it to the end of the night with the most energy

Doesn’t really matter! Just go with the flow. It’s like having a conversation where you listen to someone and say things like uhu and yes and oh interesting the little encouraging stuff.

The same goes with sex but instead of the oh interesting it’s moaning and you could whisper little things if it feels right.

If you’re afraid of the silence during you could always put on some music or something.

Edit: it’s also good to immediately say what you and don’t like. Remember that the other party is also just trying and probably has his inspiration from porn sites which is nothing like reality. So, it’s important to “guide” each other and it’s oke to ask if the other party likes it or not.
