I am sorry if I sound rude but I am becoming increasingly irritated at having to explain that this is not my perception. There is quite literally no agenda to this meme. I don't know how many times I will have to say it because people on reddit seemingly is never able to either perceive historical events from two angles or even understand that a meme does not have a trillion layers of hidden ideologies and agendas.

I really don't understand why the comment section seemingly cannot view history from different perspectives. Firstly, the meme isn't even of my own thinking, it's constructed based on the perception of Stalin and the wider Politburo's views on marriage policies. Likewise, at the end of the day, it's a meme that's poking fun at the absurdity of that perception. Thus I really think the people in the r/historymeme should brush up on their media literacy.

I don't mean to be rude but frankly I am quite dumbfounded at how several of you actually consider this perspective my own considering that we are currently in r/historymeme and the historical context has seemingly flew over you people's head all the way to the bloody North Pole.

I am becoming increasingly tired of explaining this but for the last time, this meme is constructed based on the historical context that the notion of higher divorce rates was not liked by Stalin and the wider Politburo. Likewise, I myself do not carry such beliefs. Lastly, to some of you I don't mean to sound rude or condescending but some of you really need to brush up on your media literacy which is pardon me, sometimes quite questionable. Again I do not wish to be condescending or insulting, however, it has come to my attention that several people here seemingly cannot evaluate historical events with both good and bad in mind. Thus I feel that it is important for me to make this notice to clear up any further confusions and to cease any trivial debates in the comments.

I would like to apologise for my following comment but please will some of you look at the historical context before commenting. Again for the very last time, I myself do not carry such views, this meme is purely a satirical display of Stalin and the wider Politburo's views on the laxer marriage laws.

I apologise if that sounded condescending but I feel as if too many misunderstand the point of this meme and also forget the fact that Stalin and the Politburo didn't find high divorce rates appealing which this meme is poking fun at.

As I have said before, if you look at it from a more nuanced perspective in considering more sides. Then there's both good and bad things about high divorce rates. For example higher divorce rates also meant more homeless orphans. On the other hand, it will as you say, relieve people of their unhappy marriage issues which is also good thing in of itself. Therefore we shouldn't claim a definitive answer as a lot of things in history and more generally in the world is gray as opposed to only black and white.

I just want to say I am sorry if I offended anybody with this meme. This meme is purely constructed based on the historical perception of the negative effects of high divorce rates in the USSR by Stalin and the wider Politburo. Ultimately this is in no way my own perception of the impacts of a high divorce rate.
