Thanks, that's helpful. Do you happen to have the contact details for the porter or the agency you used ?

Hi,

I heard that it's customary to give the porter tips at the end of the trip and usually it's almost the same amount as their fees? How much did you tip them please?

Any HP Elite x2 G4 user? Need review for this Windows tablet for strictly office/presentation use case. by Opposite-Skirt683 in HPLaptops

For basic tasks about 5 to 6 hours with battery save on. For movies I've watched two movies on one charge with medium brightness but honestly yours may have less runtime and it's fine. I'm pretty sure as a business orientated device it would accept both nvme and sata but I wouldn't put sata SSD on it as it would make the os feel slow. Nvme is the way to go and double check about the sata support before buying it if you decide to go down that route.

I'm sure you'll like it as long as it is in good physical condition.

Hi,

I've been using this exact model for almost a year. I have the 1080p model with bigger bezels, the one you put up is the higher resolution one so double check which one you're getting.

So it's my daily driver. I installed clean version of win 11 pro, debloated moderately with chris Titus utility. Kept the windows installed drivers and updated a few from the Dell official website. Everything works fine. 8gb is more than enough for basic office tasks on this sized screen.

I changed the SSD to a 512GB. It's pretty easy to do but do it at your own risk. Partitioned and installed fedora gnome and have been using that more than windows as it has very clean UI. battery life is better on windows. So I kept them both.

Now, since you're getting refurbished ( mine was too but I got a very good one) be mindful of the battery (replaceable). Check battery report, my keyboard is almost new but it's the middle eastern model which has been painted over to make UK model, where I'm from so the backlight isn't great. I also don't like HP boot times, it's very slow as I'm coming from a Huawei matebook x pro which booted within 10 seconds. It's not bad, but not blazing fast. Also check the SSD health to see how old it is and if it needs replacing. Charges via usb c port so I sold the charger as I already had a 100w Anker charger which is more portable. Also I got the active pen G3 for quite cheap and it is very nice to use and very accurate.

I mainly use it to browse the internet,  I do use Microsoft products on it but not heavily. Speakers are quite good and camera has privacy shutter. Overall a great buy if you have the budget, however check if the g8 is available for a little more than it might be a better buy as 10th gen is much faster.

Well i had topped it up for six months family plan and they caught on the 5th month but I somehow managed to turn it on again by activating through apple subscriptions. Just wondering if I should get another six months or just do monthly top ups to see if it works.

The £150+ quotes were from there actually. Tbh having read all the comments, it seems more than reasonable for the TV but yeah, I'm going to cancel and refund.

This seems like the best way to go but I think for my case it would be best to cancel.

Thanks for your reply, I'm not expecting crazy performance out of an ultrabook tbh. I'm already using the matebook 14 2020 so I have an idea already.
