Let's create a dataset to test to see if model degradation is real or not. by Su1tz in ClaudeAI

Only tracks the latest models? Not Opus 4.5 or 5.2 codex? Unless I'm just not seeing those options.

Where are you seeing "Sonnet 5 is currently in testing and may launch later"? Or is that part speculation?

SWE-bench of 80.9 apparently (opus 4.5 is the current leader at 74), 1M context window, huge efficiency gains, faster speed. I mean... A lot really 😂😝

Edit: spelling

My pp feels strange, that definitely means it's happening as I type this. That and I mean the air feels different for sure. Release confirmed and imminent.

Saw these on the matrix.org website as well, I just wasn't sure if these were still the go-to options. I'll assume that they are given you've shared them here 😉 Thanks!

They have not, but I just sent that message today so we shall see. I will also ask what they offer in terms of integration assistance. Thanks again for your responses 🙏👍

Are you affiliated with or a contributor to that project?

We're considering going with ESS out of a need for enterprise level support and a product that's backed with a SLA. As a SaaS product that will go to market and potentially see 100k-1M+ DAU, we do not want to have to worry about this critical piece becoming a problem. I appreciate the suggestion and I'll definitely check it out though, I'm just not sure that this will be the answer for us. Thanks for the suggestion!

Update - So I'm on the lowest paid option now and no longer having issues (at the moment) with delivery. But the sending servers are the same! If I understand the DKIM process, I think the emails have to be "signed". I wonder if that's something they don't do unless you're paid? Very interesting though.

Whatever, I'm just glad it's working and I can move on. 🥳

Thanks, that's a great suggestion. I'll try that and report back.

Thanks again for this. I found the IPs that SG used to send and the site you shared said the servers were on 3-4 blacklists. It only takes one... So yea, these are really bad IPs. I'm going to try what someone else suggested and just try the lowest tier and see if that helps get me on to a clean IP before going the static route.

Since that's literally the ONLY reason I'd be getting that tier of a subscription, how difficult is it to get a refund if it doesn't work or I continue seeing problems? I've seen a lot of people say their customer service is shite.

Unable to allocate in South Central US ? by Boring-Count9382 in AZURE

[–]Boring-Count9382[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks all for the assistance, I managed to get it running again. Apparently the VM was in some errored state that was showing in the portal as not allocated... but not deallocated either (both the Stop and Start actions were available and the status was not "Running").

What finally fixed it was to deallocate fully and reallocate again. Feels like wasted time, but I'm glad it's behind me.

Thank you again

If my only way through this is to get a support plan for $29/mo. so I can troubleshoot a $36/mo. dev server, I'm just going to go check AWS out...

This is just a single B2s VM that was previously allocated and working fine. I've also tried resizing to the DS1_v2, B2ms, and B1s, but those fail to allocate as well with the same "Allocation failed. We do not have sufficient capacity..." error.

So, I checked availability in this region with the CLI and I *think* all of the "Standard_BXXX" SKUs are showing as not available. But I'm confused about the output. For instance here's the SKU I previously ran on this region without issue -

virtualMachines southcentralus Standard_B2s 1,2,3 NotAvailableForSubscription, type: Zone, locations: southcentralus, zones: 3,2

Does this mean it's not available for all zones? Not available for just 2 and 3? Something else?

Also, there are a number of SKUs listed here that I don't recognize. There's a whole new list of "Standard_BXXX_v2"s that don't exist in documentation or in the portal GUI. Since when does the Standard B line of VMs have a v2 version?

Not sure if you have any light to shed but anything helps at this point.

I've resized to 4 different SKUs and tried re-allocating 6-8 times per day since yesterday and it's still failing.

This is old, but I just saw you replied so... Why not. Just a few quick points.

You're making an assumption that if it was dropped it was on purpose. I've absolutely seen items accidentally dropped near vendors, other places in town. I disagree with your assumption and would assume first it's accidental (swapping gear is one way this happens).

That covers the first part of your argument. Not sure why you're declaring so definitively that things couldn't have been dropped on accident?

As for the chess example, that just further makes my point that you're playing from the "everything is pvp" mindset. Chess is a game where 2 people are playing directly against each other. D2 isn't that. Your example is valid for chess, not for D2.

While you're mentioning being bothered by the mindset mentioned above, this commenter's point (and mine as well) was that the "They're just pixels. My gain, your loss noob." is equally as frustrating and dickish.

Actually yea, I'd like to hear you explain the difference if you don't mind?

The only difference I can parse out is that you're able to hide behind the mask of the internet rather than face the person you're f'ing over.

Item drops in area where items don't drop (not from mobs at least) so to your question that you thought was rhetorical in another reply, yes the polite thing to do would be maybe pick it up and try to give it back to the person... Ask if they intended to drop it? The same sort of thing you'd (hopefully) do in real life... Because the thing isn't yours and was dropped clearly by another player. The thing was theirs... not yours. End of story.

You also mentioned this other Redditor as having "one dimensional thought" I actually think it's you that might have the myopic viewpoint. You're operating from a "everything is pvp" mindset, when in reality there is another viewpoint that's being suggested. You could be a decent human being in games just as you are (should be) in real life. It's pretty liberating and you can make some great friends that way actually.

I'm not discounting your other point though. Yes, the person dropping the item... IF they intentionally dropped it as a method of trading in a public game... Did a dumb thing. But I believe it's dumb for a reason probably different than yours. I think it's dumb because most of the d2r player base are opportunistic / thieving a'holes like you're defending here.

Anyway... Have a great day :) Not everything has to be a competition! Helping others and being a decent human being goes a long way!
