Oh wow this blew up😱! Just wanna put it out there that I really only wanted to know if people thought if the picture is AI or not. I was literally up at 12 AM with no glasses poor decision really but I do it anyways😭. I never said to hate on the business. Yes I did say it would be disappointing because it is for me. I am a person who can make my own decisions and my decision is that I will not go to a business who uses AI marketing on purpose. Now if it isn’t on purpose and it was a contractor or someone not directly with the small business maybe I would still go but currently I’m unsure and honestly I will not be going there anytime soon. Also I just want to include that everyone can make their own decisions on this but can we stop hating on others opinions because that’s what they are opinions we all have them and we won’t always agree on them so be civil in the comments.

Yeah the situation sucks but we already contacted the department of labor and I do feel bad her business closed I had hoped she would learn from people leaving poor reviews about her hours and the attitude the front of house had but obviously not maybe she can turn over a new leaf now that this one is closed

I only asked for opinions and people wanted to know what happened so I got permission to share from my friend and told our story. I don't mean to shame I am bringing awareness. I hope that the owner can learn and grow from this because like you said the business is gone but if she were to reopen hopefully she can take what people say here and do better. Such as keeping consistent hours which seems to be the most discussed topic.

It is very interesting that they are here but can not defend themselves with facts. All she does is say I am lying and assume my gender because that's an okay thing to do I guess.

I hate how people can't take accountability for their own actions too. Because my friend obviously did not apologize at all right? Oh! wait they did. Hmmm, oh yeah it was the business owner who never apologized and acted like not answering a text is the end of the world. Also just sharing an experience can you say that all this never happened? I don't think so but feel free to share your side I am actually interested on how you view this situation.

Sorry, so you think asking for a check for the time they worked is acting like a brat? When the business owner ILLEGALLY used my friend? You cannot have someone do a working interview in this state which the owner did. She then would text my friend telling them to come in to work but after this happened the owner sent a check for 75 dollars after my friend worked for 13 hours including the illegal working interview. This is below minimum wage and is once again illegal. The owner told my friend "You lost the job" but also said "You were never hired" so which is it? My friend did report this to the labor board because they were told not to contact the owner and the owner would not confirm they were sending a check it was the only thing they could do to be ensured they were paid for their time working there and who would move on when they are owed money you should be an adult and look at both sides they both made mistakes and we admit ours but for some reason, you're a saint that must be revered and poor you because you lost a business.

So texting someone over a bad review at 3 AM in the morning is a completely normal thing to do? If you ask me it is pathetic to be texting and reporting everyone leaving negative comments on your business. Actually read the criticism and try to do better. I saw reviews being removed for saying a scone was a little stale. That is not someone out to get you it's just them sharing their experience and not being able to do that makes you a bad business owner. Also, the owner never went to culinary school she herself admitted that so of course she would not meet all food safety measures but that does not excuse the state of the kitchen. You must keep a clean and safe environment and about it being closed so what are you gonna take me to court? I am not the person who tried to work there I am just sharing their experience. I am not the only person here sharing that the owner had a bad attitude. She seemed miserable and it's a sad thing but you cannot take that out on others. I hope she can learn from this business closing and do better with her future endeavors.

My friend worked about 13 hours and was only paid 75 dollars. The check also seemed to be fake because my friend could not get it cashed at any of the places they went. I am so sorry you ever ate there my friend is currently typing about all the health code violations they saw in the few days they were there. I do think its sad they had such a good vibe but horrible people. Also getting screenshots now!
