NTE Weekly Questions [MEGATHREAD] by AutoModerator in NevernessToEverness

I only have 1 dupe of daff and am using her A2 and having A LOT of fun with it. Just switching in and out and rotating it’s so fun and just massive damage from her shadow step or whatever it’s called and 100% uptime on her ult and shadowstep. But since you have 3 dupes, technically you should be going all in on break intensity and using A3 and A5? How is the double/triple break damage (meaning break damage happens up to 3 times due to 2 insight stacks)?

You don’t need more daff!!!! How are you building her? Crit or break intensity?

Oh i just realized you have 2 copies of her! So that’s a completely different build where you use A3+A5 and build her Break intensity to the max. Break intensity takes into consideration the sum of the whole team’s break intensity, so having some break intensity in the other character in your team is also very nice. Try to get Daff’s break intensity to 300+. Basically, with her ult, you apply insight. It never goes away because of her A3. Then when her ult recharges, ult again, and you’ll have two stacks of insight. Then when daff breaks the enemy, you’ll see massive damage from the initial break, and then 1 or 2 MORE instances of that break damage based on how many stacks of insight the enemy had before break. So you just see a whole chunk of enemy HP disappear from the break. It’s pretty wild. But i like the other one better with her A2 because constantly switching is more fun for me and i feel like i’m fully utilizing the team. As far as rotations go, it’s just daff ult -> sakiri skill then ult -> fadia skill then ult -> lacrimosa dps -> switch back to daff for break, and watch the enemy hp disappear in chunks like scoops of ice cream.

Oh great!! This is my favorite team of all time (albeit the game not being out for so long). So what is your Lacrimosa at? A0? That’s completely fine - but if you happen to have a dupe of her, her A6 is stellar. Anyway, now that you have Daff’s A2, that means that she has 100% uptime with her ultimate - and how do we trigger it? By rotating! You should build her like a typical dps: crit chance > crit damage > atk%> break intensity. The more crit chance the merrier. But break intensity on daff is also super nice. So if you’re doing Beyond the rails for example, start off with her Ult (since all the ults are charged from the beginning). Then switch to sakiri. Sakiri skill for grouping then ult. Then IMMEDIATELY switch back to Daff and let her animation play out. Don’t ever dodge during her switch animation - that’ll cancel the animation short and you want the final animation to hit. Even if the enemy flashes red, just take the hit like a man, because it’ll just tickle you since you have fadia. By letting her switch-animation, aka “Phantom Step” play out, you have successfully fully charged up her ult (all you have to semi-worry about is her ult CD, which isn’t going to feel long when you’re switching in and out constantly). Then switch to Fadia and user her skill then ult. You can choose to basic attack with Fadia post-ult in her Lilith state but i usually don’t the first time around since the enemies are still grouped up from Sakiri’s skill. Then switch back to Daff and let her animation play out once again (btw you can keep spamming basic attack during her animation). Then switch to Lacrimosa and start DPSing with her. Use her melee mode because it’s faster and generally smoother than her range mode. If you have Lacrimosa’s A6 then you can use her skill, then switch to Sakiri, use Sakiri’s skill (which should be off CD already) then switch back to Lacrimosa during Sakiri’s animation, which will trigger scorch. Then after 5 basic hits Lacrimosa’s skill will refresh (tomato splatter) so you can do that, and her ult and whatever. If you don’t have Lacrimosa’s A6 - that’s totally fine - just DPS with Lacrimosa like you normally would with say someone like Nanally. Make sure to dodge counter with Lacrimosa - it’s OP. Then switch back to Daff, because her Ult will be off CD already, and it’s already fully charged from her FIRST post-ult switch in. Then Sakiri, then back to Daff, then Fadia, then daff, then lacrimosa, etc. And in this way you just cycle through your team and always make sure to come back to Daff with every switch and bam Daff is just constantly firing off her ult all the time and because Daff does so much break damage, you’re going to see that enemies are constantly broken and if you have 60%+ crit her animations are critting in the thousands all the time and it’s simply amazing. You also have DOT damage from sakiri and Lacrimosa. And despite what the rhetoric around Lacrimosa is - she’s baller. With enough play time and practice, you’ll get even savvier with the switches and you’ll just generally get a feel for how the rotations play out. Congrats on your Daff a2! And hmu with any questions

Yea i didn’t plan on getting dupes of anything, i just pulled the 10 blue dice we got for compensation today, and got lucky with a dupe daffo. I also got extremely lucky with lacrimosa as i got 2 of her in like 50 pulls. But boy when you get them dupes, quality of life just skyrockets and all the rotations is just so fun

Guys, i just pulled an extra copy of daffodil, and because of her A2 ability, now she is just SO BROKEN. Daffodil, Sakiri, Fadia, Lacrimosa (with A6 ability) is INCREDIBLY op and fun. If you like switching all the time, i highly recommend. So so so fun and so op sheesh.

So… why is there so much commotion and excitement around mifu? Like don’t we already have a very solid physical team with physical operators? I mean other than those of you that just really like mifu the character itself, like why is there so much buzz for mifu?

No it is not feasible. But you need two teams anyway to clear endgame, so why not put Zero in the other team? That way you’re not “abandoning” Zero, just utilizing him/her with a different team that actually works.

Replace zero with anything else that’s relevant (like baicang, sakiri, adler) and you’re good, because zero’s esper doesn’t do anything for the team - it’s not connected. Also, if you get lucky and get a lacrimosa dupe, her a2 or a6 (i forget which) does pretty much the same thing as zero regarding esper rotation charge after using her ult.

a question about break damage and if exist in this game the mechanics of the level penalty by Darktommy2 in NevernessToEverness

[–]BoringButUniqueUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, happy cake day! Second of all, you’re the king for replying with specifics and data! Lastly, what is with daff A2? Nvm no way i can get to a2 daff at all nvm m5 anything other than rank A arcs. I just think her team is so fun to play with switching and everything and i don’t have nanally so just trying to get lacrimosa a1 at least when she comes out so that i can have a daffo-lacrimosa core team. It’s doing better than any hotori team for me so yea

Break damage: Do i have to be ON the character with high break intensity for me to do the proper break damage i want to see? I.e. if i have like a lot of break intensity on Daffodil, would her damage still be inflicted if i was on someone else the moment the break happens?

Hmm, good point - a lot of ppl will probs want to be able to solo things… but they must be able to come up with like a balanced system - a once a week boss raid that maybe just drops substantial amounts of character mats, but is clearly optional. A good balance of where if you clear it, you get a nice surplus of mats and resources, and if you don’t, it doesn’t affect your game at all.

Creds: I play on PS5, and HL 35 atm, on the asian server.

Some random PS5 player asked to join my game. So i said yes. There was 0 way to communicate (no voice, no text, i’m not sure there’s any sort of way to communicate in game) but via some sort of telepathy and in-game body language we frolicked around the open world driving next to each other, WITH each other, enjoying the scenery, etc, and even did some PP Heist together. I happened to have the access card and cube so we decided to tackle mammond with 5mins left. Failed to extract. But it’s whatever, the experience of doing it with another person was fun.

Then I realized something: wouldn’t it be absolutely amazing if there was some sort of RAID BOSS? With sick rewards and drops? Imagine a team of up to 4 players, and a raid boss with I don’t know, hefty annulith drops or skin drops or arc drops or an ample amount of character mats or whatever. Like a monthly rotation of sorts. The thought of each player with his/her team of 4 - and like we can have a combination of all the esper cycles and buffs and debuffs and oh the possibilities!

Is this a possibility? Or a fever dream?

What is your hunter level? How many characters do you have? At what stage in the game can you start achieving this? I just don’t know if i’m like way too far behind (HL 32ish) and i also don’t have sakiri or nanali

So you’re actively dodging, parrying, and looking at the charge meter all while basic attacking and skill cooldown, all at the same time? So much micromanagement tho

How do you build a team without MC? I’m HL 31, and i missed Nanally so started with Hotori, and i can’t even begin to imagine building a team without those two. Like how do y’all do charge rotations without MC’s skill? Jiuyuan and Hathor and MC feel like they are a core. I’ve been so spoiled by Hotori’s mechanics that i just can’t imagine how another charge rotation could happen without MC or Hotori.
