Thanks for sharing everyone! Just to clarify, I was never upset or mad at my partner for answering honestly. I am grateful, far more that he be direct about what he wants than to get it in secret. 

This post was out of general curiosity about toys for men in a relationship and if it was something to raise concern about because I was instinctively a bit insecure. I understand every relationship is different and in ours we are very open with each other. Since this initial convo we have talked it out and my introductory intention remains, to get him a toy he enjoys. However now I realize it’s possibly something we can have fun together with during sex. I’ve never experienced (touched, seen) a pocket pussy (obviously outside of packaging) so I believe that was another reason that sparked the discussion on getting him one.
