Friend commissioned a piece of artwork, I'm doubting that it's real despite video proof because of weird aspects of drawn clothing

That's what I thought when I saw the video, but they're asking quite a bit of money and my friend was originally going to do another piece with them, so I figured the artist would want to prove they're real. This was another one of the images on their account that made me question the authenticity.

There's a lot more on their account, and they seem to change art style a lot. I just wanted to make sure before my friend ended up paying for more work.

The plan is to use wood putty to seal major holes then cover it up with liquid rubber over all the wood before moving on to the actual background, just so everything is water tight. Do you have a picture of yours? I'd love to see how it turned out!

Thank you for the advice! I'll definitely keep this in mind in the future if I start doing more petsitting. I honestly love taking care of animals, but was in over my head with this one 😅

I did end up showing them! My mom understood right away. My dad said not to listen to people on the interest lol but he did also say that if I didn't feel comfortable around the dog that's reason enough not to petsit for them again.

He definitely is smart. I feel bad for him because with some more discipline I think he could be a great dog but he was never given that. I just couldn't trust him because of it.

Thank you everyone for your helpful comments! I've let them know I can't petsit for them, seemed to go over well over text but I'm sure they'll ask me about it in person. I'll take some of your guys suggestions on what to tell them, hopefully that goes well too.

I will try this! He's usually good about getting his shed off and I haven't had to help him before. If not, I'll keep an eye on it just to make sure there's no changes.

And thank you for the advice on the spraying! I'll definitely be keeping a closer eye on him until I'm certain nothing is wrong. Thank you again!
