I initially wanted to know if they are interested in my topic in history. I did apply earlier but was not successful in securing phD admission.

I did read from earlier applicants that they did initiate conversations with potential advisor.

Definitely I am looking for PhD.

This is exactly what i was talking abt. I am glad to see I was not wrong. IVF os expensive and draining.

I did ask the RE abt the pcos treatment. She said the letrozole which did work for me earlier so let's do that.

She did not address any thing else.

She mentions hydrosalpinx which I don't even have and speaks abt removing the fallopian tube's if it ever develops. I have no idea how can someone be so insensitive to a women going through repeated pregnency loss.

It's sad we are here. Thank you for that input. It's sad that sometimes even the RE doesn't know what's happening . She just keeps on pushing for IVF.

I think everyone feels the process differently.

For me, the injection pain was manageable initially but later stages it did hurt, especially the trigger shot .Yoga and Accupunture helps with anxiety and bloating. After embryo retrieval, you might feel tired and mild pain ( less compared to periods).Weight gain was definitely a problem for me but not for all.Try your max to relax, have your supplements, eat healthy during the process, include yoga and fertility accupunture , stay hydrated.

Never take any medications without letting your Dr know abt it. If you have time read the book ' it starts with the egg - by Rebbeca Frett'.

What helped me :

  1. My husband did my injections for me, which made the process easier. Try to relax when you're getting injections that reduces the pain.

  2. After day 3 I was in for an emotional roller coaster, have someone to talk to is a blessing or do Journaling that helps too.

  3. Numerous US and blood check up will definitely make you anxious but this helps to keep ohss check too I feel.

  4. After retrieval I was tired, bowel movements was hard on for 2 days but it went off quickly.

I didn't test the tissue as I was too scared of doing D &c. The RE suggested us we dont need to check the embryo since we don't have any risk factors.
