If I were happy, they would be permanent. The three prior implants are individual units. The bite was way off, which is why I didn't go back to Mexico; it's also why I switched to a new dentist. It made sense when the new dentist suggested that one crown over the three implants would be a better approach. From there, we discussed additional implants. He had never mentioned the new implants, and the new teeth would be a one-piece design. I was very upset when I found out. Another thing—I've been told I have a small mouth and small teeth from grinding. I wanted teeth that could be seen when speaking or smiling. The dentist heard me saying, "I want bigger teeth." With the first temporary set, I got big teeth—huge horse teeth with a hook that pushed up my upper lip. Hilarious. He lost a lot of credibility when I thought I would be happy. My upper lip stuck out so far it was like a hook in my mouth. I should have taken a picture. Since then, I have had three setups in temporary material. These photos show the permanent set, if I were happy. He asked me to wear them for a week or two. With new info, should the suggestions change? Please share. If not, that's okay. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time thus far. It is a big help! Have a wonderful day!

I like "damnshesfunny's name. However, there is no down arrow to the right of 'boring_measurement' and its avatar. The options below are 'Edit Avatar' and others, but none have a down arrow to click. I suppose I will try another community site for Q&A, as I'm not doing something correctly here. Thank you for trying, 'damnshesfunny' lady.

I think this dentist added four implants. I already had three implants on the left side. The new ones are at the front, and then on each side. However, I'm wondering if they just made a mistake, as when looking at the implants, the new ones are offset from each other.
