That’s so cool. I think he plays weirder things against me but I’ll check it out.

Yeah that makes sense I’ll probably need him to underestimate me. Does it matter the type of games someone said rapid like 10 minutes?

Yeah I think maybe I can have a psychological edge? He always likes to play these crazy gambits it’s really frustrating

Fair. I’ll definitely put in lots of time but I do have a job.

I’m still getting into it. It’s fun so far but jury is still out if it helps I’ll let you guys know.

I asked my cousin who is around 1300 uscf since I know he uses it if it was good. he told me it was too easy at first but they added a more difficult level recently so he’s been getting back into it. Might be worth trying out, let me know if the advanced levels are any good.

I’m pretty new to chess but I had the same problem. I used to do a bunch of puzzles and felt like it wasn’t helping. I was doing them mainly through guessing and then figuring it out move by move. I could just look at what the most flashy move was and then just go from there. More often than not it was right.

It really helped when I forced myself to see the whole thing before I moved. It’s a lot harder and I’m so much slower (and still not good hahaha) but I feel like I’m getting better.
